My changes:
OUT: Lynch (omit/inj), Hamill (inj), Fog (omit), McAdam (omit)
IN: Mackay (sub), Worrell, Berry, Newchurch

McPherson is lucky to survive the cut. I see plenty of people wanting to bring in both Worrell & McAsey - I disagree. We're definitely 1x KPD short, but we don't need to bring in 2 more to sort that problem. Worrell alone should fix that problem. I have chosen to cut McAdam instead of Rowe, though it's really a 50/50 decision. The Fogarty/midfield experiment has to end now, it's not working, and it's never going to work until/unless he sheds 5+kg of muscle and gains some mobility & agility - replace him with Berry, and our "2 midfielders short" problem today becomes "1 midfielder short".

Problem there is Worrell isn’t a KPD, we’d have the exact same issues as we do playing Doedee there.

Might be time to bring Macasy back in as our 2nd KPD. From reports has been pretty solid the last couple of games in the SANFL and we really need Doedee back as the 3rd tall/intercepting defender.

I think Rowe is ready for a spell in the SANFL to get some confidence and find more of the ball.

Would love to see Worrell finally rewarded for his good form, just not sure who he comes in for, we really need a 2nd KPD and he isn't that, he is back up for Kelly or Doedee, can't see either of them coming out.

Obviously Lynch is an out, as much as I'd hate to have 1st gamer as a sub, maybe it's time for Worrell to come in as that role?

So outs - Hamill, Rowe and Lynch
In - Mcasey, Berry and Worrell

Fog we need to persist with for as long as we can, he has an AFL player in him
There's an AFL player inside of Fogarty... but it's hidden under 5-10kg of excess muscle mass, which robs him of the mobility & agility required to perform at this level.

I think he's too slow. Both as a mid and a forward. He's as slow as Rutten.

I guess by playing Fish we can only increase his trade value. I’d say it can’t get any worse than it is at the moment.
His AFL performances have been ummm underwhelming as have his SANFL performances until showing something against the cellar dwellers Centrals midget forward line yeaterday doesn't give me any confidence.

Actually showing something against a midget forwardline does.

You've jumped off REAALLLLL quick

Dropping the excess muscle bulk would (hopefully) improve that. Slow, lacking mobility & agility. These are all symptoms of him playing overweight (not fat - excess muscle bulk). Fix that, and he could be a real talent - but that talent will go unrealised until/unless this problem is addressed, and the problem has been obvious for years now.

Continuing to select him in his current physical condition is doing nobody any favours - we're effectively 1x midfielder down with him in the rotations, and being constantly embarrassed by the opposition can't be doing his confidence any good either.

I haven't jumped off at all, he's simply not as ready as Murray and for that reason I'm playing the more mature Murray.

I guess after thinking about it, GWS are prob one of the few sides you could get away with playing an undersized backline, Himmelberg, Riccardi, Finlayson are all undersized Key Forwards themselves. They may bring in Hogan?

Riccardi and Finlayson aren't underaized

Yeah fair cop, didn’t realise they were both mid 190, also didn’t realise Doedee was only 188, we really have been asking a lot of him in these first 6 rounds.
They are trying to play Dood as a KPD. He isn't but he is giving his all. Want to see Butts, Worrell, Dood down there. With Hamill going out this will hurt our run out of the backline but Worrell should make up for some of it. We likely need another rebounder down there instead of McPherson. Brown and Kelly lack any offensive aspects to their game so McPherson having limited run out of the backline is hurting us.

And neither is Nick Murray.

So less than inch for Riccardi and a tad over an inch difference for Finlayson?

Murray 193cm 92kg
Riccardi 195cm 92kg
Finlayson 196cm 93kg

Edit : Harry Himmelberg 194cm 92kg

People want Worrell to replace Hamil, Worrell is 11 cm taller. Is this too tall with McAsey being called on?

Hamill out, Worrell in
Rowe out, Newchurch in
Himmelberg out, Berry in

Worrell is the 2nd tall allowing Doedee to play intercept again
Himmelberg unlucky, but we lack another mid so Berry in
Rowe has had 6 games, time to let Newchurch have a few in a Row.
Lynch out, MacKay as sub.

FB: Doedee, Butts, Brown
HB: McPherson, Worrell, Smith
C: Sholl, Keays, Seed
HF:Schoenberg, Thilthorpe, McHenry
FF: McAdam, Walker, Newchurch
RUCK: O'Brien, Laird, Hately
INT: Kelly, Murphy, Fogarty, Berry
SUB: MacKay

I thought Brown and Macpherson we're both terrible and Hamill provides some run but his disposal at times is good awful.

I though Rowe was shite as well and Lynch should not have been near it.

Out Hamill: In Worrell
Out Rowe: In Newchurch
Out: Macpherson: In McAsey

Why Berg and not Fog?
