Parish 180, Merrett 179, Caldwell 183, Hobbs 183 will take the most midfield minutes for us - Perkins 188 and stringer 192 have really been getting minutes for defensive roles against bigger midfielders rather than exploiting smaller midfielders. All that to say, I don’t think your height will be an issue this week.

Not dropping Luke Ryan annoys me, he has been average at best all year (are half his kicks recorded from kick ins ?) and just let Toby Green run amok last week ie the first quarter goal he is waving his arms around whilst Toby was left alone 15M away , Ross would have had the runner out straight away and he would have copped an enormous bake at quarter time, JLO is too soft to do that which is part of our problems

Understand your frustration. He needs to be build his body and kick more goals in the WAFL. But if we keep losing he'll get his chance soon enough. You should be hoping he doesn't play until next year.

As I said earlier in the week. I’m a Sturt defender. Wanted him in all last season. But I’m off it a bit. He kicked 2 on the weekend yes, but that doesn’t mean his game was great and he deserved to stay in.

Plus a lot has to do with team balance. How many medium/smalls you wanna play? He’s gotta be the first out.

That said, Freddie has never (in my recollection) played a good wet weather game. So Sturt over Freddie may have been smart

Bloke kicks almost half our score, is the third highest tackler and gets dropped the following week in favour of keeping in same old favourites of old mate coach in Hughes, JOM and Ryan. Absolute ****ing joke of a selection, same shite that has been happening since round 20 last year.
