What's the latest on the injury front? I heard both JT & Benny are a chance. I wouldn't rush Benny back needlessly & JT would probably better returning through South, with Begley more match-fit at this stage. Haven't heard anything about Kenny.

Kenny is out for another week and I would bring JT straigth back in;).

Also wouldn't play Hart

With Kenny missing, we must use this opportunity to play Parker & not a 3rd damn ruckman who can't play as a KPP.

Stiffy, I gather we will only bring in 1 of Begley & JT (given they play a similar role), as I can't see them making room for both.

OK, you can have Parker for a week while Glenelg have the bye.
But we get him back next week. :)

Torney should play, his treatment earlier in the year (of continual non-selection) was a disgrace in my view.

Can't see us making 4 changes, but what the heck...

Would like to see us try some different things to decide on some players futures - give Ladhams & Parker most of the game to see what they can do.

B: Begley, Rutten, Bassett
HB: Doughty, Parker, Goodwin
C: Burton, Ricciuto, Reilly
HF: McLeod, Perrie, Johncock
F: Hentschel, Welsh, Edwards
R: Clarke, Stenglein, Ladhams
I: Hudson, S Stevens, Torney, Jericho

IN: Parker, Begley, Torney, Ladhams
OUT: Biglands, Bock, Mattner, Shirley

We'll be playing four tall forwards this week. The main two are Graham and Kingsley, however Matt McCarthy is back, and is the best mark on our list, whilst Charlie Gardiner will play the link role (leading towards the wing).

Given your lack of true tall defenders, i'm hoping McCarthy really can exploit having a smaller opponent on him.

Also, who do you think will get the jobs on Ablett/Chapman? I thought Stenglein might be a candidate for Ablett, but if that happens, it's likely Ablett would attempt to play out of the goalsquare, rather than through the midfield where he has been starring.

My mail is for the Crows, Hudson out, Ladhams in, but not necessarily for each other.

if thats true that is a really disappionting change - only the hudson out bit

i think this should be parkers first game with mcgregor out he should be given a go, altough Torney may be getting a game which would help in the backlines

I think we have a few players we can throw at your tall forwards. We will have Rutten will probably get your best forward (Graham??????), Bassett or Bock will pick up Kingsley or McCarthy and we still have Scott Stevens to throw back if needed.

Granted they are inexperienced lot but at least they give us some options. As with any defence, its performance will be greatly dictated by the midfield battle.

Andrew Newton Jarman is on 5AA..said he'll get Hudson back! Possibly...
Parker would be coming in for Hudson. So just a question or who gets dropped for Ladhams & whether they also make room for Begley/JT.

Poor effort Neil Craig

What is Biglands being rewarded for??

Smashing people and then not doing jack when he gets back in the team

We should be developing Hudson and I guess Parker will be delisted as they just won't use him.

I am just as confused as ever by our policies.

Agree 100% Jars. We lift Parker off the rookie list then don't even use him when our CHB is out injured...

Rutten will need to play CHB on Graham as Bock just doesn't have the bulk. Bassett v Kingsley, with Bock on their third tall.

In what?

Speaking of what, what the ********ing are we doing?

McGregor is out and Parker still can't get a game.

Why the ******** is Biglands playing ahead of Hudson???
Mystifying really.

Perhaps we are trying to increase Biglands' trade value...

Fair call Kane. Two of the names constantly banded around this forum about trade bait are Biglands and Ladhams. Biglands has taken himself out of the lineup recently, but I would have been playing Ladhams for the past month for no other reason than to increase his trade value.

Craig was quoted as saying that he'd be making decisions on players like Parker based on their SANFL form. Hopefully he can see how well Parker's played. Hopefully.

2 things -

hopefully a farewell lap of the oval after the game is the motivation for the Ladhams inclusion - thanks for the memories

spoke to parker in the mall last thursday about other things - but asked the obvious question - he seems as confused as all of us
