I wasn't happy with the undisciplined frees from Cordy and Dale but in no way should Cordy be suspended or dropped on that performance.

Not one player on our list could have executed that bump like Cordy.

Players like Cordy are needed that ability to cause collateral damage ( see Ward)

Would like to see Duryea back in. Still probably our most reliable lock down small - medium defender and doesn't make a ton of mistakes.

I wonder if Keath is just very sore as a result of an interrupted pre-season, lack of preparation and a variety of minor injuries over the season or if he is just completely and utterly cooked in general.

My personal feel is that he's had a huge build up of niggles and is struggling to play through the pain. I doubt he's completely cooked at 30.

He was an All rounder, batted and bowled some medium pace

Keath is done For this year. Put a fork in him. May come back to his best with a decent pre season, but I wouldn't be betting on it. Just can't get to contests at the moment and as a key defender that's a liability.

If Joel Garner is still managing to play for Footscray (at 69!) then surely fast bowling isn't that hard on your body

It is wierd though that we haven't tried him as a kpp at Footscray given the 6 foot 8 frame.

Yes but apart from that I have absolutely no idea why VDM gets a game.
On a serious note I was a huge fan a couple of years ago but his performance trajectory has stalled. Low possessions still, bad decisions regularly and ( not his fault ) injuries have him imo not in best 23. I hope he can turn it around

Didn’t he start out as a running defender? Maybe he needs the Ed Richards treatment and return to his original/natural position.

The Bont dilemma. To we take the punt and not play him and have him fresh with 2 weeks break if we get through. I would play him with the hope we put the game away earlier and sub him out.
