I agree with the speed aspect but what’s the point of being fast if you cannot dispose of the ball and get caught all of the time.

When fit, JJ is 3 x the player. Can kick goals on the run and in the pockets, is fast…. But most importantly can kick the footy very accurately to other forwards and from a set shot. The problem with JJ is that he is paid way too much and is hardly ever fit these days.

Scott is getting a little worrying now. When was his concussion, the Sydney game?
We seem to get more of these long term ones than not, is it bad luck or are our doctors being (rightfully) more cautious after the picken experience?

He rushed a behind, not exactly winning us the game. Duryea won us the game but battling Cameron to a draw when he was dead to rights.

Yeah he won us the game. Much like Cordy’s Knee of Fate won us the 2016 PF. They both get free passes for life.

My guess is the bench is Duryea, Hunter, West and Williams with McComb or Roarke as the sub.

Surprised they are going back with Bruce, I doubt the week off would’ve freshened him too much.

Ugh you just flipping know West is gonna get dropped for one of Bevos ****bois in VDM & McComb, bloody nothing surer.

If the right bench is picked tomorrow, ie. West, Williams, Doc & Hunter, then happy days.

I’ve got my doubts that will happen though, if West is dropped surely he walks, I would.

Assuming the 18 play, not sure how VDM is in the 18 and West isn't on current/recent senior form.

Also, 18 has 3 tall defenders (Cordy tall-ish), and 3 tall forwards. Unless there is a late out, Martin and O'Brien should be nowhere near the final team.

I’m not sure why Garcia is suddenly so far away from selection but I don’t like it.

I wouldn’t even consider myself a big Garcia fan but I thought he had been showing some good signs.
