Out: Spargo (first in first out or something), TMac
In: Gawn, Viney

Venders has had a few brain fades last 2 games , harmes wasn’t clean early , Jones not much either, the only 3 I would be looking at maybe tmac but he was pretty good tonight !
I think we have a good chance against the pies ,hopefully Pendles is still out !

I've got a weird feeling it will be Jackson who's dropped this week and not TMac guys

I'd go:

Out: Harmes TMac Vandenberg
In : Viney Gawn Bennell

(if you're going have someone do nothing for Vanders length of patches it might as well be Harley instead)

Reckon Goody goes:

Out: Jackson, Spargo
In: Gawn , Viney

Coz that's the type of dumb shit we do. Goody love Harmes and Vanders way too much to drop them. Two of his favourite pets.

In: Gawn, Viney, Lockhart
Out: T Mac, Jones, AVB

Harmes lucky to stay in. Would love him to do a hard tag on Sidebottom.

In his presser, Goody basically said the three ins above were fit and would likely play.

Lockhart in makes sense for the Pies as they have a stack of dangerous small/medium forwards.

Like for the Lockhart injury news, should be an auto in.

Time to give up on Harmes for a while mate, played him as a tagger vs Zorko and was destroyed. He's pathetic everywhere we try him and hide him at the moment.

Out: Sparrow, Harmes, Tmac
In: Gawn, Viney, Lockhart

Harmes can have a spell. Sparrow has been promising but if we want to win this game we bring back Viney and give Braysahw more midfield minutes with Oliver/Trac resting forward more against the Pies.

Weid will need to have another strong game against Moore, who's maybe the in form intercepting mark in the league. Just needs to keep splitting packs like he's doing and let Spargo/Koz/Hannan go to work. Thought Spargo looked sharp, good to see him back in some form. That's the guy I remember from 2018, clean, lovely kick to a lead and has some forward craft.

I see no point playing McDonald. It’s best we persist with the current structure in the forward line. Jackson is a lot better than I thought, for a first year player and overall, and Weidemann is a natural forward who is gaining confidence. Rivers is a natural CHB, much like TMac once was, and there isn’t a spot for TMac with all of May, Lever, Rivers, Gawn, Jackson and Weidemann.

Honestly, the only way into the side for him is at CHB if Rivers loses touch. It’s clear that the forward line is just better without him. He is much better flying for a grab in the backline as opposed to getting in the way with Weidemann.

I’ve always rated Spargo. Don’t see why he can’t stay put on a forward flank.

I’d not be dropping Sparrow. Not before I dropped AVB. Thought he was pretty underwhelming the last few weeks. I like his hardness but he needs to do more and hit the scoreboard.

Would it be dumb to play TMac on a wing opposite Langdon like we used to?

He's no speedy Gonzalez by he covers the ground well up and back. Would help Max out also with his height, floating into defense.

I like this outside the box thinking. Not the craziest idea out there! Like Richo in his last few years. He is a bit slow off the mark though and my only worry would be him actually having to make decisions behind centre with the ball. I almost forget how heart-in-the-mouth his kicking was as a defender.

I also feel like Tomlinson should be that tall winger, at least I assume that's what we brought him in for. Probably a better version than Tmac in that spot.

Yea, you could probably just straight swap him and Tomlinson, depends if the coaching staff wants to persist with AT in defence I suppose.

Not dumb but pointless with Tomlinson. Tomlinson just doesn’t convince me. He is a hybrid tall who is slow. With him and TMac it would be far too one paced. TMac just looks out of place with the current line up, and why would we change our key position structure?

Out - Jones Harmes Tmac
In - Gawn Viney Bennell

What will actually happen

Out- Spargo Sparrow
In - Viney Gawn
Spot on. Except I'd keep TMac and get rid of AVB.

I'd like to see Tomlinson back on the wing and Hore up back when fit. I'd play TMac on the wing/CHF until this can happen. Not sure where TMac, Sparrow, AVB, Harmes, or Lockhart fit in to our team longer term.

Jones and Jetta been overtaken now - give both a farewell game at the end of the year if finals out of reach.

In: Gawn, Viney
Out: Jones, Vandenburg

Would look at dropping Harmes for Lockhart but I think there's 0% goody drops harmes. This is how I would line up if I was Goody:

B: Rivers, May, Lever
HB: Salem, Tmac, Hibberd
C: Langdon, Oliver, Tomlinson
HF: Melksham, Weid, Petracca
F: Pickett, Jackson, Fritsch
R: Gawn, Brayshaw, Viney
I: Hannan, Harmes, Sparrow, Spargo
