Neither team is going all the way and is likely to lose next week
I sort of feel the same, although wouldn't be surprised to see Hawks turn it on when it matters once again.Could easily see us beating the Hawks at the g, this game is harder than what next week would be, hawks in horrible form and can't see them flicking a switch against Geelong

Massive hypothetical but just say we got up in the first two games... Good chance we'd be travelling to the SCG to play Sydney.... Definitely not the end of the world!!
doesn't sound like anyone's as low as 80%. They're available, and the only thing that makes them not cherry ripe is the lack of match conditioningI must be the only one on this forum who does not want any players coming back around the 80% mark. It just doesn't work. Go with what your got, have faith in them.
I'm thinking even if the 5 are picked expect a couple of late withdrawals.
that's a bloody good team. Ultimate flexibility too by playing the three "rucks". Rough could go back, Boyd can play full time forward. And the blokes to kick to are bigger and more worthy of Mcgovern's attention. Cordy just won't be.Alright my final team would be
Boyd Hamling Moz
JJ Wood Biggs
Macrae Libba Hunter
McLean Stringer Daniel
Clay Boyd Dickson
Campbell Bont Dahl
Suckling Rough Picken Jong
Out: Roberts, Minson, Stevens, Hrovat, Williams, Dunkley, Cordy
In: Wood, Roughead, Macrae, Libba, McLean, Campbell, Stringer
I actually really love that team, would definitely be the strongest team we've fielded in weeks. I think it's built for finals and also Subi.
I don't like dropping Dunks and Stevens as I think they could be really useful in a final but I want a bit more run against weagles. Clay makes the cut because I think he could go berserk with a weeks rest under his belt. Sort of player who I could see being the difference.
Extra tall in Campbell is a must in a final for mine

Libba had surgery. Mark Murphy did the same injury in round 10 and was done for the season.
All players want to players finals I understand that, yet it can be to the determent of the team. I just hope the medico's are making the call rather the players and the romance of finals....
Lol,wanted to say the same thing. I don't get what people going to another clubs board actually expect to read. Without going there personally I would have expected them to be very, very confident this weekP.S stop being a bunch of sooks about the eagles being confident, they have every right to
Same although my pants will prob have a different bodily fluid!Getting really excited now, I don't think I'm gonna be able to sleep very well tonight, or concentrate at work tomorrow...
If we win this game I will literally wet my pants...
Only the players concerned and to a certain extent the coaching staff, could put a figure on their level of fitness. There is, however, an unwritten rule of football that is as old as the game itself: players who are underdone should not play in finals.I must be the only one on this forum who does not want any players coming back around the 80% mark. It just doesn't work. Go with what your got, have faith in them.

Yeah the 3 rucks is a must for mine, doubtful it happens though. If it doesn't I'd probably want Williams in. Want as much run and quality kicks as possible.that's a bloody good team. Ultimate flexibility too by playing the three "rucks". Rough could go back, Boyd can play full time forward. And the blokes to kick to are bigger and more worthy of Mcgovern's attention. Cordy just won't be.
Tonight. Probably 6.25PMdoes anyone know when the teams are announced
Unless we play Wood up forward! We are going to get absolutely obliterated if we don't pick a tall to help Boyd.
