yep around 193-194 and probably close to 89-90 kgs. Only a tad under Waite who is more an athlete than a monster. Zaine can go with him as a good first up test.

Jesse Stringer is in Dermott top 6 forwards in the game. I'm sure that he'll get a kick out of that wherever the **** he plays now.
What about Jake Hogan, how does he rate in Dermott's eyes?

What concerns me is that one week after being destroyed by one of the top 2 rucks in the game, Roughie will be playing (I believe) his first game as the #1, and only, ruck against the other player that makes that top 2. Baptism of fire for Roughie the sole ruck.

I think you've got it all wrong. Roughy is playing fb and The Bont is taking the starting ruck contests.

Changes are pretty good but would swap Honey for Hrovat and bring Boyd in. Hrovat been in the bests for the last 4 and deserves another gig ahead of Honey who still needs to learn how to hit a target and not miss easy shots. His pressure skills are great but Hrovat skills are lot sharper eventhough has had some bad changers this year.

I know a lot will disagree but Hrovat reminds me of a young Sam Mitchell, let's remember Mitchell did not become a gun mid until 24 and the rat is still 21. Not sure why he has panicked with the ball a bit this year but I still prefer the ball in his hand than Honey and am hopeful the rat can do a hunter if given another go.

Yeah I was surprised to see Honey named ahead of Rat. Honey is a better forward so maybe will be a defensive forward there on Atley or Wright etc

Agree with Pann, Rat and Honey are different position players. Honey is very important with his forward pressure when he was up and about, was one of the reasons we were getting so many forward half turnovers at the start of the year.

Um, so I've never really looked at Norf's previews before. In fact I haven't really looked at any other club's boards before. They're taking the piss, surely? They literally have no idea about us at all. And to Norf supporters casually looking on in here, if you do make the mistake of playing Firrito on Crameri, you'll lose.

I didn't actually mean that North were shit, more than as a team, I just don't know any of them. With other teams you get to know players faces and who they are a lot more readily. Perhaps it's the lack of TV exposure as to why I feel this way.

Also Tory Dickson aka Deadeye is leading the AFL in goal kicking accuracy this year - it's been noted on TV & in today's paper. Amazed you have never heard of him :p

All I was trying to say was that the average fan could walk into any opposition camp and struggle to recognise more than 5 or so players, but maybe that is just me... Its quite funny how fans know what their first year rookie player had for breakfast but can't recognise a performing best 22 player from the opposition team (like me with Dickson)

So who will present Zaine's jumper?

I really hope not Grassman, in all my years had nothing but good things to say about every dogs player i have met, always polite and courteous, he was the one exception. An absolute tosser of a bloke.
 Sad to hear that

Zaine is only listed at 191cm

Is that right? Some people were talking him up as a key back, but thats a little short for a stormtrooper.
He said in preseason he'd grown to 194. Wouldn't be surprised if he's still growing either. Rate him bloody highly, tough ask first up though. I'm rapt with Rough our number 1 ruckman (if he does play there, not like the teamsheet says ), he's our best choice in the ruck when fit. Just feel it'd be much better to have Boyd helping him out in there, really really hope he's a late in but can't see it happening to be honest.

Other than that I'm rapt with the team, getting back to something resembling our best I reckon.

Doubt we'll ever see Minson in the 1sts ever again, barring catastrophic injury. I get the feeling he isn't Bev's favourite person.

He frustrates me does big Will but I've never doubted his effort. Hope he continues his career somewhere else.
I got this from a reliable source within the club that Big Will does not listen to the mids and the mids can not work with him because he does his own thing. Take it or leave it but i can tell you its fact.

Interesting selections.

The 4 omissions were pretty obvious. Would have dropped Talia anyway. Shame TC didn't get up.

Ballsy move debuting Cordy in a game this big but I guess Bev has done it all year.

Big ask for Roughy to no1 ruck all day against the best in the league but we'll see how he goes.

Thought Hrovat deserved a gig on form ahead of Webb but it's much of a muchness really.

I like all the ins for replacements but maybe would've split my 10s and had the extra tall come in to make it easier to send Rough back.

I really like Plan A: Zordy, Hamling and Moz holding up against their talls with Rough working well in the ruck. Rough will at least halve contests, especially in the centre square.

If we have to send Rough back though it's panic stations, whenever we go undersized in the ruck we run out of gas and lose our shit because our mids chase tails all day.

Love that Bevo just keeps shuffling it though. It helps make the players believe he thinks we can win it and that there is a way.

Pickens a great upgrade on Jong around the ball.

Honey helps with depth to the stoppage brigade, hopefully he gets back to early season form.

Moyd and Wood keys to this game, bit of positionless football at times.

Webb I just love

Well done to the young man Zordy, I never really see him step a foot wrong and my read on football is that he's actually the modern key back with the way the game is moving.

Are we really going in with Redpath in the ruck? Surely Toyd will be a late in.

Also no Hrovat? Could he be on the trade table at season's end?

Did Cook eat all your pizza?*

*Anyone else remember the funny Cook/Terry Wallace story?
