Have you actually seen him live?
Yes, although I wasn't particularly impressed at his defensive work in the one VFL match that I have seen. I'm hoping that he has been given a game on the basis of VFL form that I didn't see. But I am concerned that he has been given a game on the basis of "give everyone a try".

Cordy moves like a big puppy, all arms and legs. Looks a couple of years away from being a regular at top level.

I think we'll win, and the drink will take fuller and Hamilton to Brisbane next week. Hamilton the player, not Hamilton the Victorian country town.

You're Fuller shit!

Fuller will take his rightful place in Manangatang thirds after not getting a game.

The large number of changes suggests to me we went in to the WCE game weak (hard to tell when Bevereidge keeps playing kids who do great things). How Zaine got a game ahead of Roberts I don't know. Otherwise a good size even if a bit inexperienced again.

Welcome Zaine :-)

I love this kid and as I said is my pic to be our best backman..He is 20 times the footballer Roberts, his disposal is amazing and those long arms remind me of a Fletcher.

JJ Hamling Morriss
Petrie Brown
Wood Cordy Murphy
Waite
McCrae Walliss Hunter

Grant Crameri Dickson

Honey Redpath Stringer

Roughead Bonti Dalh

Boyd
Biggs
Picken

Sub Webb

We will be way to slick for North and be 12 goals up at half time :-) then sub our Murphy for a rest..

If you listen to Wallis' interview on the Friday in Perth prior to the wc game he alludes to "not putting all eggs in one basket" and when you combine that with bevo after the game stating this week would see "best 22 picked" he is clearly rotating and trying to keep everyone fresh for finals

I really like the changes. Boyd, Picken and Honeychurch will bring some toughness into the side.

Re Honey vs Hrovat:
I know Hrovat has been listed close to BoG in the VFL recently but maybe there are a few non-negotiables he's not doing yet. Or maybe he was close but Honeychurch just brings more of what Bev needs in this game? e.g. Forward pressure rather than neat disposal (not that Hrovat has been much better at disposal from what I've read).

I doubt we'll offload Hrovat. I'd back him in to work on his game and come back better in 2016. Seems like a very motivated young man. He may need to be, with Darcy McPherson a fair chance as a f/s recruitment.

Redpath starting ruck on team lists...

Against the best ruckman in the comp..

Surely Rough doing 90% of the ruck duties? Leaves us very short down back!

Based on the 6 games I have seen his VFL form has been good to very good and justifies his promotion. As others have stated he is a good defensive player and having gained some confidence has recently looked for an attacking role as well.

There is a lot to be excited about and I hope he plays well.

Good to hear. I am hoping that your observations are matched by what we see this weekend.

Ah Norf, don't you just love their precious little hearts. Very balanced lot, chip on both shoulders. I just want to win, not for our finals chances so much but it's just so fulfilling when we beat them.

Yeah, this.

Norf supporters: the crying baby on the plane of bigfooty.

Cannot stand them.

Hey guys and girls, go you pups was kind enough to jump on the North podcast for a bit of a chat/banter. We did give your mob a bit of grief during the show, but excuse that.

If Bev, the MC and the recruiting department think it's the right way to go, I'll be backing the small country town in all the way.......

Either that or we would be flooding the backline........ :p

Honey has one attribute that is useful against a hot headed team like Norf, he is a good sledger. EXpect Honey to get a few frees.
