I honestly wouldn't be opposed to bringing goodes back in, adds another hard body in the mix.. Something we lacked against wce.

Out: Smith, Redpath, Jong, Campbell (if injured), Talia
In: Boyd x 2, Picken, Minson/Roughead, Roberts

More outs the better because I reckon our players got banged up after that game otherwise North will run over us in the final quarter which has happened many times this year.

Out: Smith, Pearce, Campbell, Grant, Jong, Talia/Morris
In: Boyd, Picken, Minson, Roughead, Hrovat, Roberts

Grant and Morris are outs due to injury while Campbell can be rested with the cork. My preference is for Roughy to be given the full game it the ruck with a help out from Boyd. Red gets 1 more week to see if him and TBoyd can work together.

6 Changes could work well because 2 of the players did not play and the other 4 played Friday night. Biggs, Daniel and Red will be playing for their finals place this week. Biggs has been really good but has made a few costly turnovers which I feel may multiply under pressure. Talia was better than Hamling so he keeps his spot. Roberts needs to do more for Footscray before get promoted. Zaine to debut and test himself against Waite. Roughead is my first choice ruckman so with Campbell having a rest it gives him a chance to cement his spot. Campbell been playing ok but at the moment is the second choice. Rough is more mobile and has a bigger leap.

North kicked 8.3 from D50 launches yesterday - off the charts. Also, I think Tarrant will maul Redpath in the air - I like Jack but it's time for Tommy to come back

The biggest change of all!

I have queries on how Hrovat fits into this in the grand scheme of things but currently their is no way Pearce, Smith, maybe even Jong should be getting a game before him.

I agree. In an ideal world he's further down the pecking order with McLean, Stevens, Libba and Smith ahead of him...but it's not an ideal world and he deserves another opportunity.

All known strengths of Tom Boyd
To be fair Big Tom doesn't have the aggression in him to crush a ladybug let alone give away a free kick. AND CERTAINLY NOT IDIOTIC RUCK FREES IN THE OPPOSITION'S GOALS SQUARE!

On the VFL radio stream I heard the commentators say Boyd gave away a questionable free kick against Steinberg on Friday night and was visably angry and frustrated so he shoved Steinberg back to the ground as he was getting up. LOVED hearing that, needs a bit more mongrel.

So Redpath, not a known ruck gives away a dumb free in the goal square. Patrick Ryder a ruckman with many, many, many more games of experience gives away an even dumber free in the goal square. It happens to the best of them. Cut the kid some slack

Not exactly sure of outs but for the 4th week in a row I'll call for Hrovat to get a gig and I'd also like to see Webb in the next 2 weeks too. Was best 22 earlier in the season and hasn't done anything wrong. Roberts and Roughead are also best 22 players. If they're fit, they shouldn't be running around in the VFL.

Think the selection was a bit cute but Bev has many, many credits in the bank.

He's no kid. He's nearly 25. Look he has a one year contract to the end of next year and good luck to him. But gee, an even half decent KPF should have made mince meat of WC's undersized defence. But he just couldn't catch the pill.

I'd much prefer Boyd, at least he knows how to play ruck and can contest. And Boyd is more likely to win or halve the high ball than Redpath IMO. If we go in short of rucks against the best ruck in the league next game after being pantsed by NN, well that will be disappointing.

I assume though that Bev will stick with Redpath and its hard to argue with Bev's results on the whole.
