IMO Crouch, Laird, Radar, Pets, Spina, Hartigan, CEY and Atkins. What I will say about Cameron is that what he did do was very impressive and his goal kicking looked assured however their were guys who were more consistent.

He will have his time no doubt but its not yet. As I said earlier though if they do pick him I wont complain.

You saw a different game to me. Charlie was one of our best as was Laird and Atkins. The rest would not have been in my best players list.
I said it in another thread or earlier in this one: upgrade Charlie, give him a pay rise to make him know he's important, play him in about half a dozen or maybe ten games this year with him starting a the sub in some. This kid is special and bloody good.

Just my 2 cents.

If I were Sando I'd stand your captain out in front of the rest of your midfield group and then peel the paint of the ****ing walls.

Dangerfield got smashed from pillar to post without so much as a block from anyone of the rest of the mids who were more concerned with getting a kick themselves.

Good luck in the derby :thumbsu:

Exactly, it was our strength talked up last year, not fitness.

You're joking?

Remember Sando and Poulis saying we were the fittest we'd ever been; that almost every play on our list set new PBs in the fitness tests?

Never mind people like Reilly and Jacobs were overweight, which was obvious from round one.

Not joking at all, it was the strength talked up, but feel free to find quotes and prove me wrong!

doesnt matter if he was 6th best, if he was our best small forward and played well he comes under consideration.

Fair enough you saw different, but Ill say it again play him in too many games and we will burn him out Neade style. I agree hes a talent and could be special but at this stage hes not on the main list and giving him a pay rise is just silly.

Give him a few games in the real SANFL against the better sides and see how he goes. Admittedly I think WWT will be one of those but the kid had 10 touches I reckon, its unfair to throw him into the big time now.

Do you have the stats for the game?

We are used to it. Its the AFC way. We have rarely seen afc players stick up for each other over the last decade.

Sure it wasn't the other way? I seem to recall reading rather little on players doing any sort of runs to get any sort of records (although there would have had to have been) and mostly players all beating previous PB's in the gym (Tex being one that comes to mind).

Giving up some fitness wouldn't have been so bad if our list was capable of using the size they gained in making it a more physical game with tackling, bumping etc but given so few players are capable of landing a tackle and the majority of the list avoids big physical contact, it was a complete waste.

You can't tell me that Brodie Martin offers more to the team than Charlie Cameron cos that's bullshit ..... plus Cameron can Tackle very very well even if he's not touching it he's contributing to keeping the ball in the forward line only needs 7 touches to kick 3 goals..... Martin is a passenger who doesn't do a thing outside of his 'Role'

Poulos was the one who mentioned we were setting PBs on our various tests.

What wasn't being said was that, with a new fitness guy in setting a new fitness regime, the KPIs being tested were different as well. No surprise that we score a PB on a test designed to monitor our strength after spending a summer sacrificing endurance for size.

It was one of those throwaway lines that is very easily seen through.

If Douggy is cleared fit he has to play. Very important to our midfield. Out Martin.

Shaw just doesn't do enough to warrant selection. No fast enough, not enough spark when around the ball, questionable disposal. Would give Hartigan a go.

Porps didn't set the world on fire...does he get another chance? Gold pass some might say? Sando and the selection panel have to make the decision do we accept quiet games from who is moving towards not first 22 player or do we give another in a under bloke a go. BOB come on down.

Cameron is an interesting one. A showdown spot may be just the taste he needs. We need more speed and it came out of our forward line way too easily. Who do you drop out? If you have BOB already then probably Lyons. Grigg and Kerridge did enough to retain their spots. Lyons was sub and didn't have much of an impact when he came on. Cameron as a sub could be a game changer.

So for me Changes Mk 2....
Out
Martin
Porps
Shaw
Lyons

In
Douglas
B Crouch
Hartigan
Cameron (Sub)

You think we should yell at Dangerfield for the others not protecting Dangerfield?
