It's so funny. The girls are paid so little there's no reason for them to stay at certain clubs. They want to come to NMFC because three years ago they were all playing together at Arden St. We've invested heavily in facilities to accomodate the Womens team. Our mens team are deeply involved in their success, with BBB literally an assistant coach. We've had the same access to player pools as Geelong, and arguably the foundation clubs as they were essentially expansion clubs when they all started. We've also recruited out of the VFL incredibly well (Munn, Riddell, Abba).

AFL screwed us over in not granting us a license, our girls have come home. The controversy really should be why haven't the NMFC/MUGARS not won the won the last two premierships and on their way to their third.
