Rashid Khan we love you.
I know Chris Lynn isn't what he used to be, but the pill to get him did so with pure pace.Thornton (who?) bowls absolute gas
Injury call up for Spencer Johnson
Very good game for Thornton. Got the early wicket then helped create the scoreboard pressure with some lively bowling.Thornton (who?) bowls absolute gas
Injury call up for Spencer Johnson
They had lots of rain last week!
Lol, reverse psychology not watching them & they (Rashid) beat up the Heat 2nds.
Crazy system we are in finals contention with 3 wins in 11... not that we are going to be a threat.
Nesser too?Rashid gone but Head & Carey back in a week, you never know.
Plays for the Heat now I think.Nesser too?
Yeah, he does.Plays for the Heat now I think.
I suspect he'll get more games with Franky moving onAgar seemed a good prospect a year or two back. Had a good Shield season a outlet of years ago. Took wickets for the Strikers albeit went for a few runs. Impact bowler.
Falling back in the pecking order in all formats.
David Grant looked much better filling in for the Heat and is preferred to Agar in the Shield now
He has a multi year contract and literally just said after the game he loves playing for the Strikers and will be here for the foreseeable future. When does Rashid announce he’s playing for someone else next year?
NeverYeah but how many times have you lost the toss and been sent in on a pitch like that only to find it plays really well for batting? I know some of my better scores have been on pitches that looked like that
Ah good newsHe has a multi year contract and literally just said after the game he loves playing for the Strikers and will be here for the foreseeable future.
So at least a couple of months at least.
Yeah he wont leaveAh good news
If only the selectors has listened to me at the start of the series.Khawaja to open in Hobart with Head back in the no.5 position. Common sense prevails, Harris just isn't a test cricketer. Boland also under an injury cloud, and could come out for Richo. I'd also rest Starc for Neser but I doubt the selectors drop him for the pink ball test. It was silly not to rest him last test.
