The real story is the lack of sponsor no Forests shirt

Will probably become iconic because of the lack of one

I can understand hating Leeds or Millwall but what did Wednesday do?

lol

They had a history of talking s**t like Leeds fans did about how big they are and how small and s**t "insert lower league team" was when they were in the same division as them.

And we had play-off history with them.

Would have had to move to look around Koulibaly anyway. The ball went right across him (possible slight deflection from memory) so his view would be blocked either way imo.
But that still misses the point. Whether he had to look around Koulibaly or not, or whether he would have made the save or not, is irrelevant. We don’t know what could or could not have happened, but what we do know is one bloke was clearly in an illegal position blocking the play.

Harsh example, but the same way a drunk driver cleans up and kills someone who walks out in traffic. He might have hit them anyway and the alcohol might not have necessarily been solely to blame, but no one gives a sh*t, because he’s drunk and he rightfully gets the book thrown at him

That's a contender for worst analogy of all time.

Here's the rule:
A player in an offside position at the moment the ball is played or touched* by a team-mate is only penalised on becoming involved in active play by:

  • interfering with play by playing or touching a ball passed or touched by a team-mate or
  • interfering with an opponent by:
    • preventing an opponent from playing or being able to play the ball by clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision

Mendy had a direct view of the ball when it was shot. He made a play at it. He didn't reach it.

Whoever drew that took it after the ball was shot and is drawing lines to deliberately obfuscate the issue. He saw the ball shot, Mendy never once complained to the referee about a player in the way like most GKs do in that situation. Goal stands.
Oh, so if he'd complained it would have been chalked off? Get real.
