Henry all day every day over Kolo.Kolo is a poor decision maker with poor disposal. The opposition know this and and are happy for him to have ball in hand and then hit him with some pressure and he crumbles. He's not a bad shutdown player but he offers no drive out of defence, in fact he kills momentum more than any other player in the team.
Henry is raw and makes the odd mistake but at least he plays with some enterprise and is a far more athletic option than Kolo.
Its interesting you say that about Henry, I think he attacks the ball with intent and can mark. I find that Kolo is a bit dopey at times when under pressure. I feel more at ease with Henry going for it under pressure than I am with Kolo.
Who did we have on Motlop in defence? I wasn't paying attention, he got a lot of easy ones. Was it Henry? or another player?

This is the clearest, most concise and accurate synopsis. Well doneBored of this.
System was fine so that wasn't the issue. We just had a bunch of individual who choked and couldn't handle the pressure or the moment. It's as simple as that.
It wasn't everyone. If the entire team choked we would have lost by 50+. But enough of them did.
Shame its listing some of those matches as being at the MCG to give us an edgeSquiggle knows all
Covid cutsStill haven’t reemployed that boot studder![]()
I don't mind Kolo but..... he was horrendous tonight....especially ball in hand.Is that no coaching, why on earth put a ponderous tall on a small. Motlop karma big time

For the record I haven't smiled since the 3rd quarter but this made me crack up.
That is one of the most ludicrous suggestions. You're fundamentally asking to remove two of our best defenders, and in my opinion our most mercurial forward. Only to replace them with a first year player, a second player whose barely played seniors and Jack Steven who has quickly become the new whipping boy.
If we won the ball in the midfield more often and gave our forwards advantageous entries, we would have kicked more goals and it would have relieved a lot of pressure our backs had on them all night.
The engine room was the problem tonight.
Why at least kolo can stop goals at times Henry doesnt offer muchHenry all day every day over Kolo.
True but he touched up DixonTaylor has dropped off an absolute cliff the past few weeks. Yeah he's been a champion but seriously

Tried to tell you that all week long.
In fact, there are may on here who can see it except the coaches. Bizarre.
Clark is the future. Play the boy. He hasn't even been poor in the games he has played either. It's different if he was a massive liability but he's got spark. Needs to play.
I reckon he'd have gone close.
It was a really good mark. He wasn't to know exactly how long was left, and he did hit his target (Hawkins wasn't it?).
I've had my eye on Duncan for a while now as a Finals underachiever; thought he did ok tonight - not great, but ok. Went missing in the 3rd quarter along with most of the team, but that mark to end the quarter was gutsy.
It was the most animated I was all night I reckon; I was yelling at the tv 'advising' him to go back and have a shot.
I find it strange how Menegola has avoided criticism, commentators were talking him up to be the most improved player of the comp this year.
Has had some really poor games of late. Needs to lift and must lift to keep us in the race.
O'Connor had him for a bit I reckon ... I love what Mark O'Connor has done with his career to date, but he's had a poor couple of weeks. Better players than he have lost form before, the challenge is to regain it.
Dixon dropped 4 or 5 plums. If he didn't do a Hawkins with his marking, he would have kicked 4 or 5 tonight. Don't let the stats fool you.True but he touched up Dixon
