Not sure we get value in a parfitt tradeWe threw that away.
Couldn’t go with their run, and their s**t game plan.
Parfitt as trade bait for mine

You keep saying that he had 18 touches like it proves a point or something? My argument is simple, MOC is not the type of player we need, and our overeliance on him comes at the expense of playing more capable players in his position. He is a weak link.
Agree with this a lot. Tigs smashed us 2nd half through the middle, and got us playing crappy kick down the line footy. Lynch was kicking goals and taking marks before the half time break, but we were 20pts up and cruising because we were out playing them everywhere else. Tigs changed a lot at half time and we should’ve responded at 3/4 time but didn’t have it there. They’re ruthless and powerful.Scott could have made that change...but I seriously doubt it would have made an iota of difference....especially when u have a look at his goals.
It looked to me we ran out of legs...Whether we like it or not, the Tigers are a very good side.

we need to be brave in trading and lose some good players to gain

Do you know what Cynical means?
1.
believing that people are motivated purely by self-interest; distrustful of human sincerity or integrity.
2.
concerned only with one's own interests and typically disregarding accepted standards in order to achieve them.
People very reactive. He’s had a few weeks of average form, and I think he needs to toughen up a bit and find an edge. Thought he was one of our worst tonight and looked very lost but long career ahead still. We are not going to trade Parfitt.....he's 21 and got a ton of ability.
And as contentious as this might be, I can’t see where the criticism of Scott is coming from, and calls for replacing him? Seriously?? We finished top in the H&A and narrowly lost a Prelim where they were on top for much of the game. Young players are developing and no Ablett, Taylor and Kelly next season doesn’t necessarily make them a worse side (though Kelly leaving will be a big hole to fill).
They're not. Still should be $1.10 for the premiership this year but still not as good as last yearApparently the Tigers are not as good as last year ?
The big move for me was Danger to full forward to start the 3rd after he had dominated the 2nd, thats what f’ed our momentum up, more stupid Scott crap
Looks like the Chris Scott thread will be progressing to part 5: The Umpires Strike Back.
Worst game by Blicavs for the year. Maybe we should adopt the David Teague method - Play players in their best postitions.
I tend to agree, to me Parfitt and Henry are in the same boat. Both I think slipped a bit this season from their form last year, but that's not uncommon with young players. Both have huge futures, are much better then your bog standard fill-in role players, and will be better for the season. Not every legend of the club was a legend in their first couple of years.People very reactive. He’s had a few weeks of average form, and I think he needs to toughen up a bit and find an edge. The decision to play our best KPD all year on a wing all game, while Lynch ran wild is up there with one of the more arrogant pig headed coaching decisions I've ever seen
Parfitt should be quietly shopped he does have youth on his side, but he has no real pace doesn't hit the scoreboard much and has poor awareness he reminds me of a poor version of Caddy when we had him at the clubWe are not going to trade Parfitt.....he's 21 and got a ton of ability.
I read an earlier post that said he was favouring one leg just before he kicked that goal seconds before half timeWell...Danger disappeared after half time no matter where he was positioned.... Just faded out of the game altogether....It was very unusual. Did he have an issue I wonder....
