Certainly wereReading the AFL website their ratings of the Geelong players were shall we say, generous.
Yes I agree totally, it is a team game, but why wasn't our best key defender playing on him the start. Can ask another question: where was the pressure on the Richmond mids in the second half? Because Lynch had the ball on a platter.

You're absolutely right, and he did for most of the year. Just not last night when clearly he should haveWe’re certainly all in agreement that Blicavs should be starting round 1 in the FB role.
Just not at any time in the finals when clearly he should haveYou're absolutely right, and he did for most of the year. Just not last night when clearly he should have
Stubbornness from the head coach and the 6 or 7 others that made that decision.Yes I agree totally, it is a team game, but why wasn't our best key defender playing on him the start.
THAT is why so many are just deflated, and as I posted a few weeks ago, will affect repeat memberships. There are consequences of playing safe and they are not always what you want.First 12 rounds had me so excited because like you said they looked settled and hungry.
Unfortunately the 2nd half of the year really did look like more of the same from the last couple of years.
And it wasn't as if he was starring in the ruck or getting 30 touches on the wing, he was terrible.Just not at any time in the finals when clearly he should have
Chatty ..what is the relevance??Riddle me this then:
Did danger get all chatty to Dusty?
Did he go unsighted after half time?
The answer to the above is yes. Apology accepted
Stanley in week 1, Blitz in week 3. If that does not ring HUGE alarm bells now then I have NFI what does. Crazy, indefensible decisions, and among the worst I have seen in many years of supportingAnd it wasn't as if he was starring in the ruck or getting 30 touches on the wing, he was terrible.
But I don't blame him because he shouldn't have been there in the first place.
IMO one of the most costly coaching decisions I think I've ever seen![]()
Over the season, it has not been a static favourite, happy to admit that. I am not stuck in the mud on any team, but as the season progressed, Richmond has been the pick for many weeks. And I have at no stage thought we were the team to beat, even at 11-1.One things for sure Dubs, you're going to be proven right come five o'clock Saturday evening no matter who wins; so far this year you've variously declared Collingwood, GWS and Richmond as "the teams to beat" (not to mention WC and I think you came close at one point to jumping on Essendons bandwagon as well) so you certainly have all your bases covered.
IF....I have no doubt in my mind if we won last night, and faced the pies in the gf we would have beaten them.
Your constant defending of chris scott is baffling though. He’s not god.
I read one person say that Blicavs had to play on the wing to cover for Duncan; surely we could find someone to play on a wing without compromising our FB line.Stanley in week 1, Blitz in week 3. I took a good look at Lynch's goals...I doubt Blicavs would have impacted them much.....
Perhaps he may have curtailed his other work, but as far as scoreboard impact, I'm not convinced Blicavs would have made a difference.
I should add that Kolo (who I have criticised previously) did an outstanding job on Riewoldt that few have alluded to...good job.
Didn't seem to matter for the Bulldogs in 2016, and they entered the finals with many more injuries than the cats 2019.
made up by you!Chris Scott is a fraud! the sooner the club distance itself from his useless coaching disease the better.
Fresh outlook and fresh ideals is what we need.
Btw anyone else hear the rumour that Fremantle have approached Chris Scott? I heard it on the train on the way home and got all excited but than again could be some made up s**t.
Ridiculous!Id be ok with trading Blicavs, not sure we'd get much though
A hundred times more sensible than anything you have had to contribute on this. They have more flags in last 7! Oh dear pretty silly post isn’t it?
Those are the very suggestions I have been making all week, however none of that is why we lost. The only option we had was
Blitz to lynch, Taylor forward and enter Rohan or parsons
made up by you!
