Awh poor wittle Mikey. Hilarious.

I think he’s still upset at being told to move on from the Glenferrie bar after trying to make it his 2nd home many years ago.

Gee this "journalists are part of the entertainment package" era is hard work. Like others, I immediately thought of a list containing the likes of Hodge, Lewis, Franklin, Kennedy, Suckling, Savage, Anderson, Hill, etc. You know, guys developed at Hawthorn playing at other clubs.

Still, it's hard to develop players when you're busy developing the coaches for half the league.

I thought old Mike retired from the day to day "sports journalism"?

Does anyone know if Soylent Green is on Netflix?

Mike Sheahan is a Melbourne fan, let him be bitter, used to think he was a Cats fan given how salty he was that Hodge won the NS over Ablett (and that he got his tips wrong). He would not let that one go for weeks.

A caller to the program did call him out on his comments and then went on to say that if he is going to talk about developing their own talent then why not mention the amount of talent that other clubs have poached from the Clarkson training school

Sheehan actually become irrelevant whilst still employed by the Herald Sun. His call on Clarkson going to wce in gf week was both disgraceful and completely made up. Never forgave him after that, used his so called top 50 as toilet paper after that

Sheehan IS irrelevant. He's only a member of the media, and their opinions are no more salient, or informed, than most posters on this forum. People give way too much credibility to these people by:-
1. Watching their shows on TV
2. Buying papers who employ them.
3. Quoting them on public forums. All that does is stoke their egos.

Kane Cornes exhibit A

Do yourself a favour and don't pay any attention to anyone named Cornes. Their number 1 angle is to always take the contrary point of view, and continue to search for the most incredible arguments. It's a Cornes trait, pseudo-intellectual, argumentative, and arrogant beyond belief.
