The only hope the Victorian Liberals have right now in regards to the 2022 Victorian election will be if Scott Morrison is smashed at the next federal election (likely to be held in May) which gives State Opposition Leader Matthew Guy some much needed reinforcements in terms of planning the election campaign, while Daniel Andrews would have to find a completely new backroom team just months out from the election, because Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese (if he's elected PM) will want a team drawn from people from each of the State Labor Partys across Australia to help with the change and transition of government.
