Mail on our board is Jake is leaning towards Carlton with a key reason he doesn't want a trading fuss and thinks the Psd threat will make the trade go more smoothly. All speculation at the moment but hard to see Bombers getting fair value if that is the case.

Even if he got a full 2 year ban, which he won't, he'd still be the same age as Henderson when he returned. The cats aren't gonna win the flag in that time and that'd line up nicely with Taylor's retirement.

I love your sentiments but tell Adrian Dodoro and guys like Chris Pelchen that.

Personally can't see Geelong coughing up their fist rd pick for Hendo, especially when they might need it for Paddy. And Hendo given form and injury is worth 15-20 not p8. And with wada and attitude questions Carlisle is worth similar. All IMO.

Yarran for Carlisle in a straight swap seems about right and far simpler.

If Geelong involved gets messy with them maybe needing to keep their first if Adelaide match Paddy in RFA. However if Yarran wanted to go to Adelaide could see Geelong paying for it as part of package for Hendo (eg first and second rd picks) as a sweetener to convince Adelaide to not match Paddy. Then Carl's second goes to Ess for Carlisle. And Adelaide's 3rd goes back to Geelong.

Could all depend on where/ if Yarran wants to go.
