What needs to happen for Vict.to make final? Are there any points for a first innings lead.
We'll see at the end of the game. We're currently second on points per game, if we win and WA don't it's hard for us to miss

It's been 9 years since the Shield had points for a first innings lead.
A good change. So many draws as teams crawled to first innings leads on day 3 took the 2 points and didn’t bother with the win.

Now proactive cricket is rewarded

180 will be a tough chase I reckon. Pitch is doing plenty.

That Doran decision is a shocker.

Given WA and NSW will be a draw, Victoria could take top spot tomorrow so you can guarantee they'll be rolled for 150 and lose...

You're acting as if NSW couldn't be rolled twice in 120 overs.

231 needed off 82. If we can get to 20 overs with only 1 or 2 down, we should be strong.

5 catches to Handscomb is seriously impressive. Even more impressive is 2 of them didn't even hit a bat.

Edit: * me he got 9 for the match. That's incredible.

New shield record, such a gun fielder.

But are you disputing the Bigfooty claim that a bloke who smashes the ball to first slip they should walk? Has everyone been completely wrong about Broady after all? 😜
