Interesting watching Aker for the Doggies, and his form. Both seem to be going ok.

Not saying they are favourites for the flag or anything, but i think they'll be in the mix. Which brings me to my point.

I've googled and can't find an answer to my question. Which player or players, have been in the most winning premiership teams, regardless of who they played for. VFL/AFL.

Aker has three medallions, if the Dogs pulled one off this season, that would make it four, if of course he played.

Any players with more than three or four ?

Edit ; Just googled this.

Michael Tuck, Chris Mew, Gary Ayres and Dermott Brereton had played in all five.

Anyone with more than five ?

Still Micheal Tuck with seven, leading the pack.

Interesting that Pike has four just AFL medallions, obviously one with the Kangas and three with Brisbane.

Another one that crossed my mind, who has played in the most GrandFinals. Win or lose VFL/AFL.........is this stretching the statisticians among us too much :D

Micheal Tuck clearly as a premiership player but Ron Barassi as combined playing, then coaching career, has everyone covered in the league history.

Whom has won the most premierships as a player without ever playing in a preliminary final ?
