Why are so many people saying Adam Simpson? What woikd you guys expect if they had a different coach? He had one of the worst teams in history this year and still managed 3 wins!

That was very much a reference to the last couple of years. A few things that happened (trades, selection, etc) suggested he wasn't planning for 5+ years into the future.

Very few seasons pass by without at least one casualty from the rank of senior coaches.

No doubt Port fans will be calling for the head of Kenny at some stage in the season

Crows fans seem twitchy on the trigger.

Freo fans might feel they too are running out of patience.

Both longmuir and nicks need to make the 8 otherwise it may be over, Bevo has credits but is losing the faith of fans so he might be in trouble. And there will be the usual Ken rumbles if he fails in finals again however I expect port to be top 4 so the drums will be silent until September

At the same time Eagles fans were telling us how awesome Hurn, Gaff, Shuey, McGovern, NicNat, Kelly, Sheed, Yeo , Barrass are.

Also some of the list decisions were his doing.

Cant have it both ways. Hes still not safe. He'd want to not be bottom again. Two spoons in a row would be really pushing the patience of the club, sponsors and fans...

And feel free to show the posts saying how awesome Gaff is. Eagles fans have been saying for years the game has passed Gaff.

Eagles fans also not impressed with Sheed since 2018 and his lax attitude and lack of defensive running.

We also conceded some years ago Nic was likely finished. A sad thought but real.

So it looks like you just totally made up half that response. Well done.

Simpson will go if a better option is available end of 2024. If not he stays. It's that simple.

Maybe it's somewhat tied into the club (and Goodwin's) recent court case against former Dees Chairman Glen Barrett...

Sacking Simon Goodwin would almost be an admission from the MFC that there was legitimacy in GB's claims.

Nicks is saved by last season's umpire mistake and should have been playing finals. Never rated him though and thought it an error to hire him.
