The time has come around again when we play one of our most important games of the year-carlscum. I for one am really hoping the boys will go all out on that criminal organisation and absolutely burry them.

No complacency this weekend Maggies , the code words for this game are - crush, crush, crush.

Agreed we must blow them apart.

Hurt them both mentally and physically, I want them waking up in a cold sweat having pissed their pants a little bit after another of their chronic black and white nightmares.

We must destroy this filth infested scum

Honestly, I'm not too worried about this week.

I believe the club, the players and the coaching staff have a focus that leads up to next weeks "big game" against Geelong, and in doing so we are trying to achieve "perfection" before that game.

Add Leon Davis' 200th game, a milestone that will be as well respected and self motivating as any milestone game this year, and I think we will win quite comfortably.

Carlton, simply aren't in our league, and we don't have the same weaknesses we had in past years when their midfield and forward line worried us, plus they don't have Fev anymore, which let's face it is a 5 goal headstart for us.

I can't see Carlton even troubling us this week, a 5 goal + win is a "given" for me, which will lead us into the biggest home and away game of the year, when top spot is on the line versus the pussies.:)

They will lift for this game but they are miles behind us in class. As long as we turn up to play they shouldn't trouble us.

Looking at there board now compared to before the first game this year shows their supporters to are conceding we are the better team

Against all the evidence they were v bullish earlier in the year but most have come to realise that was wishful thinking on their behalf. It is their supporters who will hurt more than any other if we can go all the way this year.

Look at some of the players in their 22.

Ellard, Johnson, Armfield, Joesph, Warnock, etc, etc. Absolute spuds.

Will be an interesting match but they struggle against disciplined sides who employ zones.

Add Murphy to that list. The turnover king of the AFL with his team mate Judd not far behind him.

don't you get pissed when they bag our champions?
i used to read these boards when bucks was getting set to retire, and they were posting rubbish about how he was outside the packs, terrible captain, teammates hate him, doesn't win his own ball, doesn't kick goals etc.

i reckon just leave it. Judd is a champion, end of story. though FWIW on this years form it's swan, daylight, judd.

Murphy is a star. though FWIW on this years form you'd just about take daisy, and you'd definitely take pendles.
but add Judd to our side and the premiership 2010 debate is over.

Pies by 10 goals+ :thumbsu::thumbsu:

We were extremely keen on obtaining the services of "that spud."

I'm really, really holding back here..........

Don't hold back Pie eyed, you're amongst friends.:p

I want to see our boys demoralise this cheating entity for years to come.

:D:thumbsu:One of my best days was after Carlscum's most recent loss, I think it was to sydney and I had it on 1116 sen, well let me say firstly with my hand on my heart, the magpie supporters love getting stuck into MM, (me too. guilty as charged) and sometimes Leon cops it, Toovey used to be a punching bag for us supporters etc etc, but when an irate bagger supporter rang up on radio sen and said words to the effect of, " I am really piss#d off with Gibbs and Murphy, I can't believe we could've picked Dale Thomas and we picked Murphy" ........ha ha ha music to my ears ....it wasn't that long ago they were comparing Murphy, daisy and pendles and putting crap on our 2 selections........finally, the wheel has turned :D:D:D

Go Pies!!!!! smash the enemy, no mercy :thumbsu::D

The Blues supporters are definitely full of confidence going into this game.
I reckon there could be 70000+ supporters at the G on saturday (up until 3 qtr time)

I know I used to worry about these sorts of games where we're expected to win.

But that stopped after the West Coast, and then St.Kilda games.

I told a Bitchmond supporter mate of mine we'd beat Richmond by MINIMUM 70 points. He kinda laughed it off, then we smacked them by 82.

Calrton is going down by at least another 70 also.

Ratten might just lose his job this weekend. That's how bad I expect it to be.

edit: I know we weren't expected to beat St.Kilda, but with how convincingly we beat them, it seems we're a far better side than we've ever been under MM. So I don't stress over these games anymore.

Geez, I have to say SE that over the last couple of months you have undertaken a transformation.
Verging on wild eyed optimism here.:D

I thought this was solely my domain.

I wasn't negative for the sake of being negative, or to shield myself from suffering.

I was negative because there was little to be positive about over the last 10 years. It's no coincidence that the man god arrives at Collingwood, and I'm now seeing a genuine change in our team, and we're a genuine shot at the flag.

I still don't think we'll win it this year, but I can see one coming in the next couple of years.

I prefer the new you.:thumbsu::D

This is the team they fielded last week. I have taken the liberty of highlighting the players who would get a game at the pies this week.

D.ELLARD M.JAMISON P.BOWER

J.RUSSELL J.WAITE B.GIBBS

C.YARRAN C.JUDD H.SCOTLAND

M.MURPHY L.HENDERSON K.SIMPSON

J.GARLETT S.HAMPSON E.BETTS

R.WARNOCK A.WALKER A.JOSEPH

D.ARMFIELD , A.CARRAZZO , S.GRIGG , C.JOHNSON

All in all, you guys should smash us this week.

I am not expecting us to get within 10 goals of you unless you decide to take us a little too lightly which I dont think you will.

As far as form goes you are firing on all cylinders and I really dont expect that to change....

Although the post above me is just trollop!!!

In any case......good luck for the weekend boys/gals but I dont think you will need it!

They're jumping at shadows over on the Carlton board, and have started banning Pies fans. Be careful if you're heading over to the wrong side of the tracks, we know how insecure those girls are.
