I saw that and thought it was very bad. I am not particularly on either side of the debate, but will happily get vaccinated when the time is right. Wilson and Cornes are entitled to their view of course, but using their prominent platform to criticise the other side of the debate for even making an argument is not a decent way to conduct yourself. I thought they could have worded what they said about Tredrea a lot better.

Let’s face it. It’s not about taking a stance from a health perspective, maybe a part of it is, but from the Club’s perspective, it’s really about getting crowds back and putting money into the club, which is fine, we get it, as they should and need to. The reality is, with how heavily the AFL have relied on the government to operate, it’ll be no jab, no entry in 2022. A portion of members do not want to get vaccinated, and that’s a concern to the club.
