Purely on football merits Carey deserves to be a legend in the hall of fame. But if the CFL wants to send a message about DV by excluding him, fair enough. But the way the CFL went about excluding Carey, with a last minute phone call on the day, makes their messaging this round seem like a bandwagoner decision which lacks authenticity. And at the same time they're testing the waters about letting TThomas back in, they are a bunch of amoral campaigners.
