If you look up frees for per player last season, the top 40 is full of mids and rucks as expected. Curnow makes the top 10.. and as a KPF is well out of place. The next one is in the 30’s.. It’s actually embarrassing. If cox got the treatment Curnow does he’d be a 50 goal player

And that’s factoring in Cloke often missing the easy ones. Imagine if he kicked straight.

Forgot how much Cloke was screwed over by the umpires. The amount of times he got frees against him for simply being stronger was ridiculous.

You only have to see his finals performances last year where the free kicks dried up to know that he's just an "decent" forward when the umps don't give him a leg up

Didn’t watch. But that’s just embarrassing. Makes the score line a lot more deceiving. The fact curnow didn’t kick a goal without free kick assistance is true to form.
