Heh, not likely...I don't think Luke is up to his brother's standard....might be over here playing for Centrals instead

It's okay- when Brent joins his little brother at home then all will be clearer my friend :)

SCOTT CUMMINGS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Thank God we resisted the temptation!

Why not?

It's our last pick. Who else would we pick up at this late stage? Alistair Lynch is probably in his last year at 33 years of age and has CFS attacks still. We need a ready-made tall forward and none of the other delistings appealed. Cummings fills a short-term void, until one of our young talls like Jamie Charman, or Quinten Lynch can develop further. If he dosen't work out, we haven't lost much. If he does repeat a pattern of having a good first year for us, then we're the winners. Little to lose, everything to gain.

The Brisbane heat will help shed some kilos as well;)

Yeah barely played any football for 2 years, played only 8 games in 2000 with a shoulder. Pick 90 worth the risk to get a genuine key position prospect. Will probably go in the rookie draft in real life.

I just want to know why someone besides me had Hugh Foott on their list...

bastard

The Blues opted for three tall backmen with their first three choices. No surprises.

As announced on Adelaide radio last weekend the Blues have taken Jonathan Robran with their first pick.
Waite under father son
Parker, Rutten, Lokan, Brown,McGlone
Fleming has been drafted from the rookie list as per the AFL's direction to the Blues last week

I'm pretty happy with Port.

Ashley Hansen at #15 won't show instant results...he's the Pantene of the three. Tall with big hands, and is a hard runner...could play at either end.

Ben Rutten at pick #62 was surprisingly late in the draft for a player to be BOG for SA in 2 state games, and be rated about the 2nd best SA player this year (after Jamar)...built like a brick, he plays a good physical game, and can play fairly tall. I think if Adelaide had had a club recruiter, he wouldn't be at Port now :)

Simon Rosa at #75......he reminds me of Josh Carr back in 1998....was a consistent wingman/midfielder for the Pioneers all season, and was BOG for Vic Country in the losing final.

Of course I did the best for Geelong:D :D :D

3 Gun midfielders in Ablett, Bartel and Rodan

Two versatile players in Croad and Moloney

2 gambles on McCarthy and Reynolds

But who knows!

Aaron Lord (Hawthorn, AFL)

Stuart Cochrane to be delisted along with another player to make way for two picks in the pre-season draft

Can't delist any more players.

Hitter rolls on the floor laughing at the recruitment of Aaron Lord...

:D :D :D

You have made my day Christopher...you really have! :p

The Hitman

Yeah.....Geelong, Brisbane and Melbourne are looking good from where I sit, considering their picks.

St Kilda did well to get Ball, Hodge & Brooks...but they also had 3 1st round picks.

Savatage rolls on ceiling after reading tripe from Hitman!!!

Yes you can delist more players- before the pre-season draft occurs you have to submit a final list with your delistings if you wish to have more pre-season draft picks.
