Another abysmal half of football on the back of two poor games. We looked slightly better in the last 10 minutes of the 2nd, seemed to start playing a little more directly. Alot of players are MIA - Goodes and O'Loughlin in particular.

No, I understand that. But having him and Gibbs in the Blues forward line will clog up their forward line rather than ours. Happy for Goodes just to spoil the ball in front of Fev.

Or up forward as a floating target.. He has the hands, he has the height. Let him play off a flank, at least he gets the receiving ball & does something with it. I just hope he'd get some Goodes style clearances a la Richmond game. I miss those

Barry has destroyed fev in previous games....but i agree Bolton should be the one standing him.

I would like too see hartlett get involved a little more, maybe kick a couple this half

I think he needs a reactive role at the moment. He is up forward and the only think he has done is lay a great shepard to allow an easy goal for McVeigh.

Yep But Fev is at his peak and Leo on the decline. Bolton is at his peak right now.

I think he needs a reactive role at the moment. He is up forward and the only think he has done is lay a great shepard to allow an easy goal for McVeigh.

If he can stay up forward, mark and feed, it'd be good. If we put him in defence his injury may be shown up by their relatively quick forward line. Unless we play him as a loose man ... but I don't see Gibbs leaving him anytime soon.
