I think Walker, Cook and Smith outs are pretty easy. I am guessing the ins will be Pedlar, Laird and Nankervis.

Wouldn’t be opposed to resting Curtin if there’s a feeling it would help him for finals. Only his second season. Same for Soligo or anyone else who needs it.

Biggest issue remains that we don’t have a ton of depth creating pressure - our fringe players like Pedlar, Cook and Smith are not offering a ton when they do come in, and Jones has been a modest sub at best. And there hasn’t been much interest in guys like Edwards on the fringes either.

Would be great to uncover 1 more best 22 level player before September.

Yeah I get it, I think there is a footballer too but go missing like that in finals like atmosphere and you can basically stamp your own card. I was stunned when I saw him midway through the second quarter as I didn't realise he was playing

Yeah he was goodish in two games we were on top in, tonight was not what a player on the fringes wanted to put up

He’s been ok. Occasionally good . Ok on average. I’d highly skilled but is not that impactful sometimes. Bad one tonight

I reckon we should rest Sog and Tex as a priority. Sog always does better at the start of the season and post bye. He is in danger of playing too banged up come finals if he doesn't get a little break.

If we had a backup ruck and it wouldn't put Filthy in danger of injury I'd also say ROB should take a breather.

I’m a huge Cook fan but I’m not sure any fringe player can or should survive a game THAT bad.

Jones has had 3 games in a row as sub now, and to be blunt he’s made zero impact in any of them.

Walker is absolutely going to be rested. It’s clear as day.

Smith would be a questionable selection with Laird returning to that spot. Maybe Brodie will be retained as sub, but surely not in the 22.

I wouldn’t fall off my chair if one of Dawson or Murray were managed in addition to the certainty of Tex not crossing the Nullarbor.
