Lose and its out of our hands and with the Blues winning it gets even more congested at the 8.

We have our destiny still in out control - barely but a good win today will keep us in the mix for another week.

Jezza is on 1/2 rat power it seems and Bews is back but only in the VFL

Mostly unchanged team with Rohan in and MOC to the sub.

Time to shine in the winter sun but Freo seems to enjoy playing us and less funishly for us knocking us off as they have of late.

It will be done and won in the MF - get it first and win the centre and clearance battle and the Forwards can do the rest. The quality of the entries will have to improve on last week but Freos back 6 aint like Brisbanes so less intecept marking stars - but still we need to be better getting it in there.

Need to keep Stewy in the D50 and let him do his thing but they will try and stretch us too.

Be first to it and keep the lethargy of weeks past as a memory only please and lets not relive any of that rubbish.

If we are serious and good enough, the next 5 weeks will show it - and it starts now.

• Hunting the ball in the clearances instead of chasing opposition players
• Angry Stanley
• Repeat efforts in the middle instead of the single effort then give up (Blicavs guilty of this last week)

Congratulations again to our 2 x premiership coach. We've only missed finals once during his tenure, his winning percentage should be the envy of all other clubs. The club has revolutionised the way veterans are managed, which was a significant factor in our 2022 premiership. He's thoughtful, considered when he speaks and clearly has the players walking beside him.
