What a load of bulls**t

Cotchin threw the ball to Houli when it was Dangerfield's free kick. Dumb. Left the umpire with no choice.

Stupid, needless goal for Richmond to concede. The defender should've known Danger would flop forwards a la Nick Riewoldt/Matty lloyd. Shouldn't have played so closely and bodied him like that. Just go for the ball and punch it away. Unnecesary free kick to concede.
Have to be honest - i thought it was houli’s free

Bull****. Watch the game with your eyes open. If anything, he is showing just how good an umpire he is. Clear free kick to Dangerfield and you have to return the ball correctly to him. 50m penalty every day of the week.
Not when it wasn’t an obvious free kick and even the players didn’t know who the kick was going too, he has no feel for the game and needed to think before he blew the whistle, 50mtr free kicks kill the game , especially ones like those. It’s the worst rule in the game.

He paid the free kick but didnt signal whose it was...then give 50 against Cotchin who had no idea. Absolute amatuer.

Danger absolutely dived but the push was there. The 50 however was not. Just Razor Ray looking for his moment in the sunshine

Was there, umpire called push and Houlhi thought he had the free kick and called for it but it was his own team mate that got him in the back in the process of tunnelling Danger. Cotch should have known better as he saw the contest and was near the umpire when he made the call. I can understand Houlhi's confusion but Cotchin should have known better.

Lynch should have been pinged for in the back when he kicked his first goal. The "new" rule simply means you can hold your ground with your hands in your opponents back-not shove him under the ball. That happened twice in the first quarter to Richmond's advantage both times. If the cats need to dive to catch the umps attention, then dive away boys!

Yep, there have been 3-4 blatant pushes by Richmond not paid.

Razoy Ray Chamberlain showing why he's never umpired a grand final.

Not up to standard.

Your meant to indicate whose free kick with your arm.

I’m always anti umpires, but that 50 was the fault of Houli.

He threw his hand up straight away calling for the ball without even checking to see if the kick was his, prompting his team mate to pass it to him instead of waiting to see which way the umpire signalled.

Mate he didn’t even raise his arm to signal which way the free kick was before paying the 50, it was an honest mistake and no one wants to see a free kick paid like that in a prelim
