I switched on to SEN to listed to Karen Cornes sing the praises of the blooze and heap s**t on our club because he hasn’t seen our 5 picks from the 2021 draft …suggesting it was a fail as far as he’s concerned because aside from Gibcus he hasn’t seen the others play

The effort was certainly there & the fight they showed when players were hitting the deck showed great character. But ultimately i thought the game was of a very ordinary skill-level & we played them with Walsh, Weitering, Docherty, J.Martin, Motlop & Marchbank all missing. All those guys would walk-up start for us.

Cumberland you seem obsessed Mate. No chance he replaces MJR

I'm not obsessed I just don't see much point in Mansell or MRJ who had 10 possessions and 1 goal between them. That was my opinion after watching them play every week and do bugger all last season. For some reason posters are happy with that. My opinion is the more firepower that you have in the forward line, the more likely you are to win the match. The obsession is the other way, many are happy with very little input from a small forward, but as long as they chase the ball around the back end of the ground their job is done.

Firstly I want Cumberland in because he is an impact player who scores and creates goals. He also tackles hard and applies good pressure around the ball. His weakness is he doesn't do it all the time, but the positives outweigh the negatives. If not him I would go Clarke, next Coulthard but he needs a few more games due to interrupted preseason. Green is a maybe but not sure he has the toe, hence Campbell is playing. Happy to have Campbell there because he is a class player with a good nose for the goals.

Lynch, Cumberland, Campbell, Balta, Martin and Bolton would be about the best forward line in the league.

I think he may have gotten injured in the VFL. Disappeared in the second half.
