Whilst 2 others had their first hit out last week after recent injury or covid .

Yeah mate, I thought it was a really important stat to highlight from today and very pleasing to see Dow (in only 3/4 of a game!), Ross and Parker right up near the top.

Although I really liked Miller today I unfortunately think that Gibcus did enough to hold his spot, but I think it'll be good to have that option, Gibcus and Miller could rotate throughout the year once Gibcus become tired towards the half way point in the season (as seen by RCD last year)

RCD 100% deserves to be playing seniors, it was like playing Prestia in the VFL today, he's just a class above. He should slot in nicely given that Ross was pretty ordinary today.

Agree.... This is not the place for kumbaya only positive pampering flowing information.

People want to vent and make outrageous opinions. Some players last week played shite. They'd admit to it and know criticism from the media, socials and discussion boards is going on. As long as it's not defamatory and racist etc, then that's what Bigfooty is for- opposing viewpoints and banter.

Posters want to give opinions on players lack of ability or development, poor performance, or suggest they are ageing and time to hang up the boots, but others compliment and post stats showing opposing arguments, great, that's Bigfooty.

Yes, there was a completely over the top reactions all week after r1. How boring if everyone posted positive comments about how the players at least tried hard and chin up, it's another week next week.

Last week was a festival of personal abuse particularly galling was absolute rubbish about our former captain, a bunch of legends of the club being rudely questioned for lack of heart, their loyalty (selfishly playing on when they should have retired) and some of the stuff written about fringe players and ignorant, abusive posts about injured players and unavailable players made me embarrassed (and pissed off) to be a Tigers supporter.

It gets dressed up as "opinion, everyone's entitled to their opinion" but that's just a lie. It isn't an opinion, it's just unleashing anger and dissapointment on players, coaches, admin, hell anyone will do...none of it anyone here would have the balls to say to their faces.

All this after ONE ******* game. Not to mention the vitriol directed at the club recruiters, coach and assistant coaches who have been the pillars of an unprecedented period of success for the Tigers.

I had to self ban myself for a few days it was so poor. I thought some regular accounts here had been taken over by oppo trolls. It was unsavoury and piss weak and despite that, you've ended up having a crack at people in this thread who defended the club and the players.

All it took was one R1 loss for the forum to descend into chaos and abuse. Please don't make it up as something is wasn't.

I like Cotchin very much. His sacrifice and contribution to the club can't be questioned. Short memories and shrill knee jerk reactions need to be called out. Same applies to some Giants players taking hits also.

What are the longer term fixes needed to compete with Dees and Swans? Is it a matter of gun it foreward with abandon, to compensate for the weaker mids?

How good is Broad? Apart from the jugs incident in 17, head down bum up no fuss no bs no drama. Tarrant looks the same.
