To the posters on here who bagged me last week when I said the premiership race for 22 is wide open and we can still pinch it, well I rest my case. Our problem is that we're an undisciplined side and our coaching team with selectors refuse to pick our best 22. Sydney win games bc they pick their best 22 every week and they're a disciplined team which give away no stupid 50's or frees. We're so close this year, but our coaching staff is more undisciplined and dumber than some of our players, which is killing us.

Agree the only reason the Swans won last week, is, we LOST IT. Cant gift teams 5 goals by free's (3 of them '50s which resulted in goals).
Luckily for us we still got 11 games to get the undisciplined side of things right. Surely, this has been a hot discussion within the club to stamp this crap out.

Edwards and Castagna have been 2 that haven't played to their best. I would have ralphsmith in ahead of Edwards (put shedda as the sub get him to 300 games) and I would give Cumberland a few games ahead of George or even stack who had a good game last week with 17 possies and 4 marks, Morris said he didn't have a big impact but he worked his backside off.

Another was Mansell in his new role up forward who I must say is doing really well. He had 15 possessions, 6 marks, and 1 goal.

On the dees they said on AFL360 EXTRA on Thurs, that Melbourne has gone from the No 1 pressure team in 2021 to 18th in 2022.

Nick Riewoldt goes how can that be, the tigers in their 3 premierships were doing that for 4 years. It just shows what a great team we have been and I will say now we ain't out of the premiership hunt this year, it's wide open so many teams can win it.

Hard to imagine the coaches are totally happy with George if they are re-educating Mansell.

Clearly they want Mansell in but there are no spots in defence. Makes great sense; he’s good enough for the AFL but finds himself rotting in the 2’s.

Our objective should be finishing 5th or 6th and playing a Carlton or Stkilda. Right now for us our hardest month of footy is coming up with no wriggle, we simply have to win the next 4. Port, Carlton, Geelong & GC are all winnable games if we have our big boy pants on.

Get rid of passengers Soldo, castagna and Ross , 100% it's been shit selections and brain
Fades that's costing us , with Melbourne showing they are beatable, if we can get our shit together we're a chance.

Our objective should be finishing 5th or 6th and playing a Carlton or Stkilda. Right now for us our hardest month of footy is coming up with no wriggle, we simply have to win the next 4. Port, Carlton, Geelong & GC are all winnable games if we have our big boy pants on.

No doubt our aim is to finish top 4 and get the double chance. Dees could still finish top and I would back us against them at the G. Win and play a prelim at the G. If we finish 5th or 6th so be it. Win and likely to play a semi final interstate.
Let's say Lions finished top and us 4th. We have a very good record at the Gabba.
