Not entirely clear.
Some suggestion that he's had minor niggles (glute strain etc) and missed a bit of the pre-season so we aren't expecting him back for Rd 1. Didn't play JLTs.
Would be surprised if he doesn't press hard for selection in April though.

But realistically he doesnt seem to have been fit for a long time and if the injury is chronic, he may never be.

Our forward line structure is going to be very interesting this week..making me very nervous on paper.

I’d play Bont and JJ almost exclusively forward. We need 80 goals between them to make finals. I don’t see any other player on our list apart from maybe Redpath who might kick 25 - 30 plus.

They can pinch hit in the middle if we are being beaten soundly but I think we rely on Libba, Dahl having better seasons as well as further improvements from McLean, Macrae, Wallis, Jong etc as our main inside brigade.

I'm with you Fronk - though my gut says Daniel won't play. Based on Bevs comment in the presser today '... one or two boys who may have been a staple in the team who may miss out.' I hope I'm wrong.
