I wonder if the AFL will ever re-name Docklands Stadium now that they own it. Like change it's official name, obviously they'd still sell the naming rights to a sponsor...

Like they have AFL (the mens premier league), The AFL (headquarters), AFL Womens, AFL Victoria, AFL eXpress, AFL Academy, AFL House... so you'd have to assume it would be AFL Stadium or AFL Dome or something.

This would have been the kind of game where we could have used Tsatas. Likely to lose the ruck taps but Tsatas is a stoppage shark. Merrett could but we need him receiving. Flip needs to play out of his skin and try to break even.

Huge opportunity tonight to cement a spot in the eight - let's hope we're good enough to take it
Hard to know what Freo side will turn up. Very hard to read. Were smashed last week but some solid players back.

No doubt Scott will have us ready. He has seemingly kept us focused & grounded to date.

Edit: notice Freo are favorites going by the betting odds, bizzare! I always like us going in as underdogs in these danger games.

Langford to kick 4, Menzies and 2MP 2 each and Ridley for 13 intercept marks.
Flip to be clunking marks all over the shop and even get a sneaky goal.
Unsure about weed. Feel like he is due for a breakout, but not sure if it’s this week.

Feels like another benchmark game.

Playing in WA with a chance of rain against a decent not great Dockers outfit who will likely be champing at the bit after a poor performance. Us in decent but not great winning form. Opportunity to move up the ladder staring us in the face.

So toughish game but there is some expectation that we show up and win. Under Worsfold and Rutten we usually folded whenever there was an important game with expectation around performance.

Win tonight and it goes a long way to showing the world that this is a different version of EFC.

Bryan and D'Ambrosio both travelled, they're in the open training video;

There's only half the team in that video so idk if Hind or Cox also travelled.

Hind travelled as well, only Cox stayed home out of the emergencies

Will be fascinating to see 1) what role Scott asks Parish to play, and 2) how much Parish is willing to buy into that role if it isn't "get 20 clearances ya leather pig".
