We've officially won more home and away games than last year

And we're in the finals baby!

15 (and potentially 16) wins in a year is a great effort - teams have been much better at shutting down our strengths all year and we've really had to grind it out. Less luck with injuries this year too. Super proud of the effort to qualify.

So happy Breust kicked that goal, have loved watching him play and grateful for everything he has brought to the club. A true champion in every sense of the word.

Finals starts next week so let's bring our A-game

Gunston is playing as well as he ever has which is saying something

What I would love to see is us treat next week like a final, like its sudden death even though ots probably not.

The mentality from here should be we dont lose another game for the season. Hit every game with grand final intensity.

Happy with the win, we are doing enough at the moment and come finals doing enough every game will see us hoist the trophy.

I say this every week but **** me it annoys me that the first bit of commentary post our win from Fox is David King casting aspersions over our structure with four talls.
Absolute campaigner and i hope when we salute in September he remembers that he is a campaigner that only keeps his job because he has mates in high places.

Moore was back to his AA best.

Wish Wiz got more involved before getting subbed, I thought those conditions would suit him. Also would have liked to see Lewis and Chol get in on the action, just to see them all gel, but the conditions weren't great for talls.

Our three talls couldn't get near it but we became ridiculously Gunston/Punky obsessed in the last quarter. At one point off a turnover we have Salem one on one on Lewis 15 out directly in front. He'd have been giving away 6+ inches and 10+kgs and we just blindly bombed into a congested forward pocket to Gunna.

Need to be more ruthless to go further in September

Absolutely, although I seem to remember a bit of frustration in round 23 last year against the Tigers. We won by 60 but it should've been 100. It's annoying, and might be costly in terms of the ladder, but ultimately I look at the application from all our players and it's right where it needs to be. Fantastic team-first footy today.

The only way we miss finals is if we lose to the lions by 227 or more in the worst case scenario. Very unlikely

1st quarter forward 50 entries were elite, the other 3 quarters very messy. Take the win and sharpen up for 4 quarter effort in the finals.

Would have been nice to have kept the percentage healthier. Hopefully we don't come to regret it. We left a lot of goals out there.

Our pressure game has been elite this month. We're ramping that up at the right time of the year.

If we can be a little bit more composed ball in hand, especially the final ball inside 50 we are going to be hard to stop with our array of forward options.

Need to get the ball in Moore's hands more often, especially in the guts. His vision is elite.

Ward keeps building. Mitch is looking more and more comfortable, especially in the air. Chol did a lot of unrewarded work off the ball.

Newk is cherry ripe for a big finals series. They tried to clamp him with Viney from the second half and he just kept powering through him.
