Hated everything about that car park until we realised the AFL member bars stayed open after the game.

The only VFL ground I went to that I couldn't get home from in time to watch the start of The Big Replay. I was even able to make it back in time from the Cattery.

We’ve mastered it but not really under BB.

When its a full rebuild you coach for the long term. Its not a choice. Bolton makes it clear if you listen close to what he says. In My opinion the coaching and development from this year has been entirely about long term learning and practising and and close to nothing about week to week. And the fruit of that is now a secondstring team (because of injury) actually playing better than they should be able to, for 3 quarters until the younger bodies begin to tire.
We will look back on this year as something that built depth from within out of adversity.

But I dont accept that its coaching to lose. That is just too simplistic.

Yes, under Bolts we have many criteria for small wins. Winning would be great but it's never about trying to lose, rather many good and right habits, eventually leading to wins. Hang in there Surrey, keep your 80s Avco child close!
