If Rama goes back to Box Hill and Meek is brought up to the seniors, it means Rama will be the sole ruck at Box Hill which isn't something that he's ready for yet, especially with him doing the majority of his training as a forward.
I don’t believe Hawthorn’s team selection revolves around what is best for Box Hill. Rama rucking the majority of Box Hill’s game will only improve him in that area and from all reports he is a good runner who should be fit enough to do it. As another poster suggested, Kosi will chop out from time to time.

Is there any world where Meek can come in and Ramsden also stays in? i.e. 2nd tall
FB: Weddle - Frost - Hardwick
HB: Impey - Sicily - Scrimshaw

MF: Reeves - Nash - Worpel
MF: Day - Newcombe - Amon

HF: Moore - Ramsden - Wingard
FF: Greene - Lewis - Brockman

INT: Meek - Ward - Mitchell - MacDonald
SUB: Morrison

???

Would mean Morrison drops to sub, and Breust/Jiath are replaced by Scrimshaw and MacDonald.

Wouldn’t want to see either CMac as sub. Happy for them to have another dominant game at box hill. With those 2 outs expect Scrim for CJ and Butler for Breust. Not sure on sub was thinking Bramble but he had his worst game against Casey. Maybe one of the CMacs does come in and Morrison sub.

Could be our strongest team for the year?

Should be right up to our neck in this game, Freo aren't much at all.

Good team, hoping MacKenzie is the sub out of those option.
Breust and CJ have both been down this year, so not much of a loss and a good chance to get over their niggles.
A ‘down’ Bruest that still kicked 3 last week and leads the goal kicking 🤔
It would be a nice surprise if his replacement kicks 3 this week.

Breust “managed” at 33 - yep makes sense.

CJ “managed” at 22 - give me a spell. He’s been omitted and rightly so.

Meek for Ramsden makes sense, though I would have been happy for Ramma to have stayed in the 23 to have another dip.

Freo are 2-5 and seriously battling. Meek / Reeves to hammer the injured Darcy and out of form Jackson. Just need our mids to use the ball better when we win it and go inside 50. Get the ball into the hands of Day, Amon & McDonald please.

We are a damn good underdog here and frankly I expect us to win this one, quite comfortably.

Hawks by 4-5 goals.
