10:30am Thursday February 26-Sunday March 1

Six points keep the Warriors off the bottom of the table, that's where the Redbacks are but both can still make the final. The visitors need maximum points in both this game and next week's against Tassie at Adelaide Oval, then their quotient, which is second to Victoria despite the 26 point gap, may help them. They are reliant on draws and/or Victorian wins to be any chance, while the Warriors have a little more control with their final match in Sydney.

Tom Moody's been complaining about not having produced a local fast bowler since Jo Angel. Brett Dorey wouldn't like to here that but the story does sound familiar to Redbacks supporters, with rumours now that they're chasing Burt Cockley from New South Wales. There's 'only' four imports in the squad for this game, one of them likely to carry the drinks with Dan Christian returning to the squad and probably to take the spot of Aaron O'Brien on the pace-friendly WACA surface. The other change is the return of Callum Ferguson, with Cameron Borgas forced out thanks to Mark Cosgrove's century on his return against the Bulls.

Voges, and to a lesser extent Pomersbach must stand up for WA in this game... if it is going to be left solely to Wes Robinson and Steve Magoffin to score the runs again they may as well concede defeat now.

Marsh seems to be injured for a lot longer that expected.
That SA team is looking good just needs Tait in it but not going to happen this season. Cooper would be a good addition as well.

According to the bureau there's been no rain in Perth since 5:00 last night, but play's been delayed by two and a half hours because of it. Revised times are 1:00-6:30 today, which means 10:00-5:50 tomorrow. Toss should be 43 minutes from now.

How on earth does Cullen Bailey not get a gig ahead of O'brien especially after the last match where he took 8 wickets?

This is EXACTLY why Australia don't have any decent young spinners coming through the ranks, absolutely no trust in them what so over.

Disgraceful.

good to see Luke Towers in the team: he's a good player that boy

26/3 after 15 Overs. a bit slow going

Cleary and Haberfield the wicket takers so far

Over 33.2: Cosgrove to Towers, no run, glanced down leg, shout for caught behind but Manou doesn't take it cleanly.
Over 33.6: Cosgrove to Voges, one run, DROPPED, cut straight to Klinger, put down the catch on offer.

3/82

Not bad at all by O'Brien, Pomersbach certainly tried to do a Gilly like counter attack but couldn't go on. Just a shame no one above him could support him.

After having them 5/98, all out for 243 is a good result for WA, but yet another example of how s**t we are at cleaning up tails - we should never have let them even get to 200.
