Why do we persist with these allrounder types? Maxwell, Marsh, to a lesser extent Watson these days. They are good enough bowlers, and they aren't good enough batsman.

Watson has been one of our greatest one day players and Maxwell has been pretty good.

I think we have one too any in the side though, we'd be better off with a bowler in place if Marsh IMO.

I don't look at our team and think we have the same talent as the South African team but we still compete. We are too inconsistent.

How pathetic has this been given our start... we managed to get 94 runs at 6 an over without loosing a wicket and then we lost 5 wickets for less runs at a snails pace.

We'd have to start looking at Watto in T20I/ODIs as a batsmen who can bowl if needed. Otherwise, a number six who can bowl ten. In that respect, it's either Marsh or Faulkner.

Observation. Speculate who should be in the side before the game, but once they're picked you shouldn't be wishing for players to fail.
