Why do we persist with these allrounder types? Maxwell, Marsh, to a lesser extent Watson these days. They are good enough bowlers, and they aren't good enough batsman.

Watson has been one of our greatest one day players and Maxwell has been pretty good.

I think we have one too any in the side though, we'd be better off with a bowler in place if Marsh IMO.
 
I don't look at our team and think we have the same talent as the South African team but we still compete. We are too inconsistent.

We'd have to start looking at Watto in T20I/ODIs as a batsmen who can bowl if needed. Otherwise, a number six who can bowl ten. In that respect, it's either Marsh or Faulkner.

So did Bailey needless to say he had 2 months of form. Faulkner has been rubbish since January.
Rubbish since January yet in the team of the year..... Ok that makes sense
