Ross Lyon (allegedly) White-Anting Mark Harvey, David Teague and Brett Rattan in his ruthless ambitions for coaching and or financial gain is really something I find unpalatable.
Carlton choosing Vossy over Lyon as our next coach was a real sliding doors/turning point in our club's recent history..

Despite the mediocre season, St Kilda would actually be 5-4 if we got games in Melbourne like Collingwood or Carlton would.

Media certainly do control the narrative and as you say Bevo cops from everywhere and if you peel back the layers it’s because the media keep spruking they have a talent laden top 4 list. Media ? Pfft ! Their list is garbage.

Carlton were shunted/forced to play down in Tassie (and Geelong) when we were struggling on field several years.
There is no directive or agenda against St Kilda from the AFL.

It's pretty straightforward. Playing at KP is worth more than 8 points to Geelong and playing in Launceston worth more than 5 points to Hawthorn.
The numbers don't lie.
Therefore, all other things being equal, Saints win those games if they're in Melbourne.
Being a small club has disadvantages. You make finals but still get sent to the tough grounds. We'd probably be 5-4 instead of 3-6 if we had a "big club" fixture.
No chance St Kilda finishes bottom 4.
Unless they get obliterated by injuries. But that's a standard caveat to any sport prediction ever.

Lol please you lost to a bottom 4 team with their starting FF, CHF, CHB and FB missing. We were missing goals from the goal square today.
The game could have been played at Moorabin and you still would have lost.
Just a nothing side. A side chock full of B and C graders at the moment. Owens, Wilson and NWM have the potential to be A graders but not there yet.
Saints need to figure out exactly what they are doing because they are going nowhere at the moment.
