Unless I’ve missed something recently, the league is set to decide what priority pick the Suns will receive, if any.

What is the general consensus on what pick they’ll receive?

i reckon the Suns will get one at the end the first round. There will be strings attached, can't be traded and must be for a player who has played more than 100 games but not in the top 25% or earners at the club etc.

The lack of silence from clubs about this in recent weeks suggests to me the already know the Suns will get a pre first round draft priority pick, which means picks 1 and 2.

Frankly I can live with Melbourne missing out on Anderson after all the help they got from the AFL over the years, including that farcical compo pick for James Frawley.

The fact the Giants made the Grand Final actually makes it more likely the Suns will get picks 1 and 2.

Thanks buddy. It's a great set up. Send the boys up there for schoolies at the end of year 12. They can hang up there for a bit.. hit the clubs and the surf. Visit Movieworld and Seaworld, do a bit of footy training in between. Then head back home after 3 years as grown mature men.. all the partying out of their system, and ready to play some serious AFL footy!
