Robbo was an extremely underrated footballer, there was all the hype about his hangers but he was every bit as good as Hogan at using his body and marking on the lead
I can only really think of Dan Menzel current day who's as good at it, forward craft really is poor atm

To busy practicing their check side outside of the right boot bananas from the pocket to practice leading. Gee Topkent, get with it

Great but rough edged. Could piss me off with clangers on occasion

Agreed. Extraordinary how he was such an effective player as he was very limited (Didn't get a lot of the ball, didn't tackle, wasn't quick, wasn't tall). Was one of those rare players who finished well from both general play and set shots. If he was 10cm taller would have gone close to kicking a ton. Still makes me angry that he wasn't AA in 2005 when he kicked 73 goals.

He is a player I never realized how good he was until he retired, remembered as flashy but his bodywork was seriously top class.. he took Scarlett to the cleaners in 05 when we needed to make finals kicking 7 at the cattery
The only bloke we've had come close to him was petterd for 6 games
Robbo was a gun

Apparently one of the potential top ten picks is playing for Casey or might in the coming weeks , Ben Ainsworth I think might be worth keeping an eye on.
Absolute jet. If we end up trading back into the first round he's someone I think we should be looking at, has the outside class we need from a forward flank while still being hard at it.

We need a key defender.

I actually don't think we do. Assuming T Mac stays, we have him, his brother, Frost, who looks promising, and Dunn and Garland for depth.

Yeah, someone like Hurley or Rance would be amazing, but I think our most pressing needs are outside class through the midfield and a key forward/ruck.

We need a ruckman. And as always, players who can kick, regardless of the position. That's #1 priority. I don't care if they're Dean Rioli lookalikes. Just need to be able to hit targets consistently. We really lack this badly
