I think it's real smooth brained thinking to say that only people who are already perfect can advocate for things to improve.

Cummins has made sacrifices for his country, including standing out of IPL three times, so it's ridiculous to somehow paint him as a hypocritical idiot.

Unless you're getting your news from Andrew Bolt then you would have to be concerned by climate issues. This is his way of expressing his concerns, which is his right.
Maybe he should stay home and just play state cricket

He's not just, 'not perfect' he flies on planes, constantly, to play a game. In the middle of a global warming crisis this is not essential and quite a ridiculous waste.
And perhaps it also gives him profile and a platform to speak up and improve things for millions of people. Cummins having a global platform that he uses for good can improve things far more than him choosing not to get on a plane.

Fixing the climate crisis isn't about locking ourselves in caves and never using electricity again. It's not about decisions that decimate the global economy.

It's about still improving the quality of life for as many as possible while not sacrificing things for future generations.

Some damning headlines in today’s news. They could’ve all just gone with “Slippery Pete was right” but I’m not one to be fussy.

Remember, even though our response failed the most vulnerable it was compassionate to support it and selfish to oppose it.

They’ll come out and condemn this independent report too..….One of the people doing the report stopped at the beach to pat Pete Evans’ dog one day, so it all means nothing.

They’ll cling onto this buckling narrative until the only people extolling the virtues of lockdowns and covid vaccine mandates are politicians and CHOs who don’t want to be dragged in front of a royal commission.

“How were we to know lockdowns did more harm than good and five year olds shouldn’t have taken the vaccine? We had to move at the speed of science. Mistakes were made, nobody’s to blame!”

“The review was funded by the Paul Ramsay Foundation, Twiggy Forrest’s Minderoo Foundation and the John and Myriam Wylie Foundation.”

So this so called “independent” report was fully funded by big business…

Bahahahahahahahaha… so basically its not even worth the paper its written on!..

Oh dear… Theres a sucker born everyday Slippery..

Oh, and hindsight’s a wonderful thing isnt it.. Australia dealt with the unprecedented covid-19 issue better than nearly every other country on the planet. FACT. The results speak for themselves no matter how much the anti-brigade want to whinge and whine..

Cummins chooses to fly all over the world to play a game and earn $$$$. There is an environmental cost to this, a cost he is okay to pay, because of the rewards.

Slippery Pete was right, alright. Far Right.

Right on cue….
And?…

Is the “who funded the report” question not allowed to be highlighted or discussed?..

Why is that Pete?…

Oh, thats right.. because that would make the reports results extremely questionable..

You dont honestly think these big business tycoons are going to fund an “independent” report that doesnt end up reporting exactly what they want do you?.. surely you are not that stupid?..
