Collingwood have relocated a majority of their VFL home games to the holden centre too. They still play at vic park of course, but their bulk is at the holden centre now. I think it's mainly due to redevlopment. Also as would be the case if Essendon had a side, i assume the ground might host cricket as well

Is it under redevelopment? Collingwood is playing 7 home games at Victoria Park in 2017, 1 at the MCG curtain raiser against Hawthorn and one at the Holden centre in round 18.

My bad on that one. must have been last year. i know they wanted to open the ground up to the public and make it modern as well. sorry about that

Yeah I know there is one stand left but according to a few sources, Ausstadiums.com and wiki it still fits 15000, 7000 at the Holden centre with no grand stands, to me that makes no sense to why Collingwood wouldn't want to play at their traditional home.

I had a chuckle at that. Not only were you one of many to give her 3 votes, if you could watch that game and not clearly see she was the best player out there I'll take my hat off to you. 19 disposals and 10 tackles, plus I think she close to doubled the best Lions players' ranking points, she was brilliant.

They got lucky with a well timed lightning delay, just when we were getting our game rolling, and the torrential downpour made it near impossible to kick goals, unless you were handed a couple right in front, like they were.
