Incredible 50m set shot from Laurie in the conditions (or he got lucky and the wind happened to swing around to his back at just the right time).

If it’s 2017, can we bring back Cam Pedersen and put him straight into the AFL side?

His form since being back in the VFL has been really good. One of Caseys best in each game and his ball use and composure really stands out at this level.

Bowey was great. Threw himself into everything.
Laurie was good too, especially that 50m goal in awful conditions.
Weid was immense. Kept winning the contest in the wet and bringing other players into the game. Didn't see the stats, but he would have to be up there.
Nice to see Pencil back in the red and blue too.

Yeah was impressed by Weid. Shit day for a KPF and marking but his ground level work was good. JSmith looked lively up forward too. Jumped at everything and his pressure was solid.
Thought the young guys like Woe Jnr, Howes, Laurie etc did well in the conditions. Hard and contested stuff all game but they all cracked in well

He looks promising , injuries has meant he has missed a lot of the season .

I thought Weiderman was more influential than Brown , Harmes got a lot of the ball but i thought a lot of his kicks went to the opposition .
Still the same Baker , decision making questionable , Laurie did play , Bowey got crunched a couple of time in the 3rd q , kid is tough .
Spencer will be handy for the VFL finals if he can play , well past an AFL player i think.
To be fair the conditions were shit for football and the game matched . Smith played forward mostly , why have 3 forwards flying for the same
mark when you can have 4 . Still a player who would make more sense as the AFL emergency than some of the other choices this season .
