Pascal fined $50k for screaming obscenities at Nick Nurse. Something not right in Canada.

Also in their last two games VanVleet has played 82 minutes combined, for a +/- of exactly 0.

In the 14 minutes rest he's grabbed, the Raptors were - 29, which is naturally the margin they lost those two games by.

Insane how good a bench player he has become in the nba

Shooting 50% from 3 this year

I remember watching him in person at an NBL game. Unobtrusive was my impression at the time, solid fundamentals but very little chance of an NBA career.

Has obviously never stopped working on his game, but is just a smart, smart guy. Great mentality too.

Raptors have dropped off worse than us, they might even start to break it up.

Lowrys been on the trading block for some time now.

Lakers suck at the moment. Hope the Drummond acquisition goes through to add some size and life in the paint.

Lonzo and JJ both not playing today

Surely there both getting shipped before the deadline

Wouldn't necessarily read anything into it.

JJ will definitely be on another team one way or another, but he has been out for a couple of weeks with what sounded like an actual injury. Probably no point bringing him back, but chances are he may be bought out rather than traded. We'll get a 2nd round pick at best.

Lonzo situation sounds fluid. If we get a good offer and fear he'll demand too much on his contract, he might be moved. On the other hand if we think we can bring him back at a reasonable rate and/or the trade offers are paltry, then he won't be traded.

His price has probably gone up at least $5 mil per season since February.

Lonzo would be perfect for the Knicks

Would have no hesitations paying him, but what the Pels are after in a trade is the big question

You might be able to pair him with Quickley. Unsure of the fit with Barrett, but doesn't seem much different than with Ingram. Zion and Randle play somewhat similar roles too.

Whoever ends up with him has to be prepared for the fact that he's probably not ever going to be able to play as a classical point guard. Until he improves his game off the dribble he's more of a 3 & D wing who can pass really well. That's the biggest difference between him and LaMelo, LaMelo is much better at getting into the paint and finishing, which unlocks his passing potential.

Rumour is Rich Paul is looking for north of $20 mil per, so it's kind of a tough situation for us. If his bubble play wasn't such a train wreck last season there's probably a fair chance we'd have inked him to an extension last offseason. Too late now.
