Not in terms of talent, by no means, but the comparisons made of the four young guys we got were that Sidebottom's like a Gilbee, Beams like a Black, Blight like a Judd, and Rounds like a Boak.

That's a cracker. Imgine if it came to fruition. Sure probably not likely... but if it did, we'd have a star midfield!

More then happy with our draft, even Brown isnt terrible as hine stated he is a backup.

but to get sidebottom and beams at 11 and 29, and then two players hine expected to go top 30. Im more then impressed

Although you did mention Blight still available before we snared him.

Can you say "no not Luke Thompson" in the rookie draft? I like the look of him as an agile tall backman/forward and bottom aged. Project player.
